Is it a watch, is it a dive computer, is it air integrated...It’s all three.  Introducing the NEW Teric Air Integrated dive computer from our friends at Shearwater Research.  The newest addition to their dive computer lineup boasts a full color high resolution AMOLED display, multiple dive modes, including their new Freediving mode and connectivity for up to 2 transmitters to name a few features.  Now let's talk about durability. The Teric utilizes a scratch resistant Sapphire crystal window and 316 stainless steel bezel and buttons. With these materials they have created a rugged watch that will stand up to the harshest dive conditions, and look good doing it.  What else could they pack into such a small package, how about wireless charging? That is just what they did! The Teric has a wirelessly charged battery with a five (5)+ year rated life span, and includes a wireless charging stand. With AI enabled, the Teric will run 30+ hours in dive mode, and 50+ hours in watch mode, all on a single charge.

How about the features when your not diving? The Teric looks just as good out of the water.   It has multiple watch faces, up to 15 customizable color options, and Shearwater offers multiple band colors to match your style.  The Teric will also work with any third party 22mm watch band, to make your custom look options endless. Safe Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 – Warnings Required

We appreciate your decision to purchase Dive Right In Scuba products to provide the best in water experience. We take our job seriously! You may have noticed that our products now show a warning label at point of sale referring to carcinogens and birth defects. You may also have begun to see warnings related to carcinogenic substances or substances causing birth defects prominently displayed in hotel lobbies, hospitals, or other places of business recently. These warnings are required by the State of California, and we believe that an explanation of the California statute legislating the requirement will provide you valuable information regarding the relative risks of the chemicals that may be present in consumer products.

In 1986, the State of California passed the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act; otherwise known as “Proposition 65” or "Prop 65". Prop 65 requires businesses like ours to disclose to individuals the presence of chemicals listed in the Act prior to point of sale. The regulations implementing this Act have been amended over time with the most recent updates will take effect on August 30, 2018. There are more than 900 chemicals on the Prop 65 Chemical List, including many chemicals that are found in components of a wide array of consumer goods or are used to manufacture components that make up consumer goods.

Prop 65 does not establish acceptable concentrations for any listed chemical; however, the agency which enforces it has established what is called "safe harbor" exposure levels for about one third of these chemicals below which warnings are not required. These "safe harbor" are established for listed carcinogens based on the quantity of the chemical that would result in one excess case of cancer in an exposed population of 100,000, assuming lifetime (70-year) exposure at the level in question. A similar process is used to establish safe harbor levels for listed reproductive toxicants. Additional information in plain language on safe harbor levels is available from the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment at http://oehha.ca.gov/Prop65/background/p65plain.html

To ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, Dive Right In Scuba has placed a warning on products that contain a Prop 65 listed chemical, either directly or as a part of the raw material supply chain. This allows us to comply with California law and provide our California consumers with the disclosure required by Prop 65, while still promising the safest on water experience possible.

Very clear and bright screen..Very well balanced weight on the wraist. Battery life is good and the only negative is the bezel markings have no color but black. I enhanced w color paint and real gold foil.

    I love this computer. I’ve had it since March and have been able to log over 300 dives. It does everything I need or could want it to do. It’s heavy duty, and still looks sharp. I feel it’s too bulky to be a wear everyday watch for me, but I don’t mind wearing it while diving or at work (I work as an instructor). I decided to invest in this computer as I was getting into tech diving, as I cannot compare it to other tech computers, I thought it was perfect for my course and the handful of tech dives I’ve done following. You have to scroll screens to get to some important information, but once you get into the habit it’s not too difficult. I’ve been very happy with this purchase.

    All the traditional security and confidence of a Sharewater computer in a compact size. Without losing any functionality.

    I have heard that some people fear that it does not look good enought due to the size, however the brightness and good distribution of the diving screen makes it easy to read even looking clearer than the Petrel (I use the 2 in parallel)

    Ideal for women with shorter forearms that should place many things like CCR handset, interchangeable dry suit cuffs, etc.

    The built-in Compass tends to be descaled, I recommend calibrating it before each dive.

    I don't use it as a watch because it's too big for a woman's arm, but it works perfect as a desk clock when it's charging

    I have had the Teric for 8 months. I have taken it diving to the Bahamas and to Grand Cayman. It is an excellent dive computer. It is very intuitive and very easy to use. The display is crisp and very easy to read. Many dive computers have a complicated menu structure that is difficult to navigate. The Teric is very easy to understand and very intuitive to navigate. I have used it for Nitrox diving, night diving, deep water diving, etc. It is a great dive computer and a nice watch to wear when you are not diving. I highly recommend it.

    I've put my Teric through it's paces a bit already - a bit over 40 dives in cold water and rocky caves - and it's holding up fantastically! The interface is only slightly different from it's big brothers but all the brains are there and the watch has proven robust and reliable, as I've come to expect!
    I look forward to getting air integration on the unit down the line but right now it works fab for me!

    I purchased this as a travel computer so I did not have to carry my perdix with me. I could use this as a watch as well as my dive computer. After diving it a few times switching gases I quickly realize how easy this computer is to use. I find the screen easier to read underwater than my perdix and the buttons easy to push even in my thick gloves! Battery life is good as long as you don't have the screen on high brightness and wearing as a watch all day. Even then I get more than a day out of it and it recharges quickly. Have used several suunto, a petrol, perdix the Galileo and the new G2 as well as the HUD but I have to say this one is my favorite!

    I purchased the Teric in September 2018 to use as a back up to my Oceanic ProPlus 3 for a trip we were planning for March/April of 2019. I did approximately 59 dives in a three week period in Thailand and the Teric impressed me so much it has now jumped to the primary spot and the ProPlus is now the back up. I was initially concerned about being able to read the screen, as I wear reading glasses, but that was easily overcome after the first dive. It is easy to read the screen and change the setting depending on the gas being used. I would definitely recommend the Teric Glass Scratch Guard to save the screen from impacts.

    Fantastic dive computer with amazing build quality, intuitive navigation, and a robust feature set. It's not quite perfect, but it's pretty close. The only improvements I would make are to add support for additional transmitters, and to make the dive screens even more configurable (eg. allowing TTS to be replaced in rec mode, or to customize the order of info screens).

    I will note that Shearwater Cloud isn't the greatest software, so I personally use MacDive for digital logging instead.

    Use this as a backup to a larger computer on cold water dives with this strapped to my SPG hose and primary on arm over Drysuit. Also use it as primary computer on travel warm water dives and as my wrist watch while traveling. This is a great computer easy to see and use. Best computer I ever owned. One tip, BUY THE SCREEN PROTECTOR! I was in Bonaire, slipped on the boat and banged it on a tank valve. Shattered the screen protector and I thought the Teric was done too. Took off the protector and the Teric was fine. Spend the $12 on the protector.

    Got this computer just before a trip to the Florida Keys. I put 11 dives on it and have been very impressed. The air integration works well, and the compass helped me navigate a night dive with my girlfriend flawlessly. Love all the dive log data and works easily with the app.

    • You never need to contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) –Simply return your product to us with the RMA Form, To ensure that your return/exchange is handled in a speedy manner, always include a copy of your receipt. We do recommend calling with any issues to see what the best course of action is, its not always to just send back….so just give us a call and lets figure out the best response!
    • If you have bought an item and it needs to be returned, your original shipping charges are non refundable.
    • Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  If you received Free Shipping on your order, and return it, the charges for the shipping will come out of your refund.  Shipping is inlcuded if you keep the product, a return voids the free shipping.
  • * Certain Items may incure a 10% re-stocking fee(can be higher dependings on custom options or special order).  High dollar items may have a re-stocking fee which covers transaction and shipping charges.  If it is an exchange, there might not re-stocking fee depending on the situation.  We are people too, so we try to make sure it works for everyone depending on what is going on.
  • * Custom items do not qualify for a full refund.  If an item doesn't fit, we will do everything to make sure you get a proper fit.  But, on custom items, there can't always be a 100% refund, due to the custom nature of the item.

 

To return an item, just follow the simple directions below and we’ll take care of the rest!

 

    1. Pack the item(s) securely. All returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging. Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
    2. Please include the RMA Form with a copy of your receipt.
    3. Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded.) We recommend shipping ALL products back with an Insured Carrier with tracking numbers. This is the only way to track the product to ensure we receive it. Dive Right In Scuba is not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to Shipping Carriers.

 

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 60 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
