About Silicone Neck Seals - by Si Tech SKU: siliconneckmain

These one size fit most neck seals are AMAZING!!!  Black silicon, never needs to be trimmed, and extremely comfortable.  You will need a neck system to attach these to your suit.  They WILL NOT hold with any glue.  See the below video for the neck system we sell.  You can add it yourself or send your suit to us and we can install it for you.  The nice thing about having such a system installed is that you will never need to pay for a neck seal installation again.  You can quickly change out your neck seal yourself.  No more worries about a ruined dive trip due to a blown seal!

Check out our Drysuit Services and Prices HERE!!

Even though silicone seals are better in many way than regular latex seals they still must be handled with care.

Please handle them with care. Overstretching, sharp objects and poor trimming can cause your seal to tear.

Even if the silicone seals have more stretch than latex seals, do not stretch the seal more than required. Assist yourself with a free hand when pulling the seals over your head or hands - both for the seal and your comfort.

Avoid contact with sharp objects, like finger nails or rings, when handling seals.

Use a product such as talcum, on a regular basis to minimize frictional strain on the seal and for personal comfort.

When trimming seals, use sharp scissors. Cut edges should be as smooth and straight as possible. Do not trim across trim lines. Avoid sharp edges.

**We do not warranty this item if you go to extreme lengths to stretch this seal.  You CAN rip this if you try.  Only use this as you would with your normal latex seals.  Do not attempt to stretch this beyond those latex capabilities as it will not be covered if you rip them**

  2. Latex allergy no more review by Derek on 5/12/2018
    Overall Rating

After decades of diving, I developed a latex allergy, which makes wearing latex neck and wrist seals a literal pain. Not only is this seal super soft and comfortable, but unlike latex seals, offers a much wider size differential. That means that even if I gain weight on a cruise or lose weight from running, there are no leaks and no adjustments.

  3. No more hangman's neck review by John on 8/16/2017
    Overall Rating

Incredibly comfortable neck seals with the bonus of no trimming required for my neck size. My first drysuit class I used a latex seal and had the worst hangman's neck rash and still have the line to show for it. With these seals no rash, no line, just dry diving.

Had my seals in 3 days. Negative comment: the seals are just folded into a Priority mail bubble envelope. I used a scissor to open the bubble pack and if I had not been cutting carefully, would have damaged my seals. Open your packages carefully!

  5. Great seal. review by Roy Barry on 2/21/2017
    Overall Rating

I love these seals. I have the neck ring system on both of my dry suits. I tore one of these seals after 200 dives last week. I got my spare put of my save-a-dive kit and put it in. It only took 5 mins and I was diving. Bought two of these seaks. ONE for my spare and a spare for my dive buddy. Great product. Coupled with the neck ring system, this a unbeatable peice of equiptment. And the price was $10.00 less than I could find it anywhere. I have bought a lot of stuff from DRIS. I have always found them very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

  6. So comfortable review by Kenneth on 1/29/2017
    Overall Rating

So as a person with a mild latex allergy, this seal is a God send. My neck is 15.5", untrimed the size regular seal was comfortable when it warms to your skin, however i still felt like i needed to trim one ring down. Be very careful trimming the seal. I recommend removing the seal for trimming. Turn seal inside-out and stretch over a scuba tank for best work surface. Take a very sharp razor blade and trim just above ribbing using ribbing as your guide. Perfect trim every time. WARNING: when doffing drysuit, stretch seal only as much as necessary. Using both hands, grab neck opening and open to grasp your ring system. Then put head through. Do not just shove head through seal as this greatly increases your chance of tearing your seal.

  7. Great product review by Robb on 11/8/2016
    Overall Rating

Very comfortable and well constructed neck seal. Great to have a back up in the save a dive, for the few bucks the peace of mind that you have an extra neck seal waiting incase needed is well worth it. Changes to this system on my diving concepts z flex instead of replacing another glue in latex seal and am wondering why i didnt make this move a while ago.

  8. Love these seals review by LAURIE on 9/15/2016
    Overall Rating

I've had this seal system on my drysuit for several years now, and I love it. It is comfortable and seals well, I have had to change the seal once because the one that was on got ripped when I caught it on the corner of a table. I have also had to change it because I have recently lost a lot of weight and had to change to a smaller size seal. This system has been well worth the investment to have it installed. I would highly recommend it.

  9. Excelent Neck seal review by Wayne on 8/4/2016
    Overall Rating

I use this seal on my whites fusion tech drysuit. The neck seal is comfortable and goes on easily. The only downfall I have found is with the hard plastic ring for the quick neck seal system limits my reach in my drysuit just a bit, making it harder to reach valves or reach across my body.

  10. Well made...seems more durable than I original thought review by John on 5/10/2016
    Overall Rating

I've shied away from silicon because I've read some bad reviews of other products on-line. I purchased this on the recommendation of a friend. I'm using it with the Si-Tech neck ring system. The neck seal seems very durable. Trying it on at home and it is very comfortable. It has more stretch than I thought it would. I'll be trying it out this weekend and hope it eliminates the continual leak I seem to have with latex neck seals

  11. love the light feel of these review by joseph on 4/29/2016

I hate having something pressed against my neck. these feel so much lighter than the latex that I hardly notice

  12. Nice neck seal! review by Will on 2/25/2016
    Overall Rating

This neck seal came standard on my Fusion SAR and I am glad it did. I can change these on site if they rip and do not have to send all the way back to the manufacturer to get it repaired. Also, since it is silicone you don't have to worry about latex allergies.

  13. Very nice neck seal review by Rich on 12/22/2015

Purchased as a spare and it seems to be well made. The silicone is very supple compared to latex seals.

  14. leak proof and comfortable review by Luke on 12/10/2015
    Overall Rating

DRIS installed the neck ring on my CLX450. Excellent job, 3 years old now. My first seal lasted approx 65 dives over 2 yrs. Never leaked once and was very comfortable. Not as durable as latex seal, as others have said, use talc to install and just be careful. I'm very happy with the neck ring/silicone seal system

  15. Nice seal review by Walter on 9/19/2015
    Overall Rating

I like these better than the latex ones. Not as tight but still gives me a good seal. Using it with the neck ring system is topping on the cake. A size chart would be helpful in picking which size I needed. By using the manufacturers web site and matching product #'s I was able to get the right size.

  16. Comfortable seal review by Steven on 4/19/2015
    Overall Rating

Very comfortable seal that I do not have to trim ignored to use and doe snot give me the dreaded hangman noose around my neck after a day or two of diving that the latex seals do.

That being said, be aware they are not nearly as durable as the latex seals and will split very easily if you have a long finger nail, or brush it up against something sharp in the truck/car, just takes a tiny scratch and they can and will split apart when putting them on.

  17. Nice product review by Brandon on 3/27/2015
    Overall Rating

Made from some Very Durable silicone. Needed to cut one ring to fit my stubby neck. Stretched the cut off band to see how far it would go before breaking. It stretched at least four times its length before stopping and then i had to give it a good pull to actually break it.

  18. Good quality and kept me dry....but.... review by Brian on 2/11/2015
    Overall Rating

I installed the ring system on my Pinnacle drysuit. I had to center the ring on my neck, could not offset it toward the front. This seal would probably be fine for someone that has the ring system offset to the front - but mine doesnt have enough material to compensate for any tension on the back of the suit. It puts too much tension on the neck, and opens a channel. To be fair - It only happens with the pressure of the tank hanging on my shoulders ( out of the water) - I was dry when I got in. All the same - I'm switching to the Waterproof seal ....which has an extra bellows in the back. I hope this will allow for the extra stretch I need in the back of the neck.
I just wish this seal was a little longer - and could handle a wider range of movement. $ wasted on my education I guess.

  19. Comfortable and dry review by Jonathan on 12/6/2014

Great product, very comfortable and easy to work with. Much more comfortable than latex and more effective than neoprene.

Just be careful when trimming them, I cut it too far and had to replace them after one (wet) dive!

  20. Make the move review by Peter on 11/4/2014

If you have not already transitioned to silicon, this is the product to change that. I had the SI Tech neck ring put into my new drysuit and this is the most comfortable neck seal I ever had.

  21. Check out the size small review by Michelle on 9/16/2014

For small necks or if you are getting soaked with the size standard this is a must!

  22. Comfortable review by Kevin on 6/30/2014
    Overall Rating

DRIS did a full seal replacement on my suit and so far I'm very happy with the work and the seals. Super comfortable neck seal (I was very tired of the boa constrictor wrapped around my neck every dive from latex seals) and not only that but I can now turn my head without leakage.
I've heard the wrists especially can get blown easily, but so far no issue here. Just be careful, use seal slip or powder and you'll be fine.

Great product. I was able to install it in my Whites Fusion Sport drysuit without problems using the rolling tool. Small size fits my 13" neck no problem. I can't wait to try it out!

  24. review by Nick Rhoads on 7/6/2013
    Overall Rating

This is an extremely comfortable neck seal. The only drawbacks are price and you do have to be very careful when donning/doffing as not to rip them. They seem to be pretty much maintenance free. I do use talc though to help slide them on.

  25. review by Bob Dankert on 6/23/2013
    Overall Rating

This is my second silicone seal for the suit, my first one lasted around 2 years, likely 150-200 dives on the neck seal. The new seal is a bit different from the original seal and it seems that they have continued to make improvements, which is great to see. I always use talc on the seals to make for easy donning and doffing, it prevents the silicone from getting sticky.

DRIS did a great job getting the new replacement seal to me very quickly!

Installed a ring system and silicone seal in my daughters Fusion. The seal is very flexible and required no trimming for her use. She is now begging me to do her wrist seals since the neck seal is so comfortable.

Great support from the DRIS staff!!!

Installed the Silicone neck seal onto a Dui Drysuit with a Neck Tite System and it is great, the most comfortable seal I have used. The guys at DRIS are great to buy from, full of good info and prompt on dealing with

  28. review by Dennis Lawson on 4/11/2013
    Overall Rating

I had the Silicone neck seal installed by DRIS back in Spring of 2012. I have since put about 50 dives with the Silicone seal on my Si tech neck system and I love it. No worries, no leaks, very comfortable for long periods. I would definitely buy them again for my next seal replacement. if you're on the fence go ahead and get them. Be kind to them and don't over stretch them or allow any sharp obj to come in contact. I'll probably buy another neck seal when I 'm done writing this review. I don't give recommendations lightly but this product worked for me YMMV.

I added this product to my USIA drysuit. I was on the fence as to wether or not I should spend the extra money for user replaceable silicon system. After trying the system it was without a doubt worth the extra money.

    Bottom line, get the silicone.

Si Tech silicone neck seal, this is used on a Whites Fusion dry suit with the Si Tech neck tite quick change system. This was ordered to replace a torn latex seal on my wifes dry suit. After diving with the silicone seal we will never go back to latex, so much more comfortable and no trimming needed, wife has small neck. I was not sure on sizing so a quick call to DRIS answered all questions and sizing was spot on. Thanks for the GREAT cutomer service. Amazing prices, my DUI silicone neck seal is 3x as much. I love the reward point system,

Much more comfortable and easier to trim than latex. Be advised: They will tear easily if you are careless or in too much of a hurry. I tore my first seal on my second dive with it! Read the instructions, use plenty of talc, and help the seal over your head with your fingers.

  33. review by David Fraser on 1/3/2013
    Overall Rating

I'd heard a lot of good things about these seals, and the rave reviews were spot on. Far more flexible and durable than latex. You have to use rings with them, because i don't know of any glue that'll hold to the suit and these seals, but the idea of a long lasting, more comfortable seal that's hypoallergenic to boot, is one that's been a long time coming.
GREAT product, and very reasonable prices.

Have to install the neck system to use these but well worth it. I did the whole set-up with help from DRIS and worked out well. Silicone neck seal is much more comfortable and easy to get on and off. No leaks. Long time Drysuit diver will be adding this to my other suit.

I had my drysuit modified to accept the silicone neck seals and it was the best modification I have made on any of my scuba gear. The seals work! And the comfort is unmatched with any seal I have used.

  36. review by Darren Clermont on 9/7/2012
    Overall Rating

These seals are so soft and comfortable, I have a big neck and I trimmed the seal so that you barely notice it there at all and has not leaked once. It is sure nice having a spare seal with me just in case something happens, only takes a couple minutes to change and won't miss a dive because of a seal. Thanks you for recommending this system to me Mike, and as always thanks for the great service and the product videos.

  37. review by Seth Schaller on 6/13/2011

To me the worst part of wearing a dry suit is the tight / constricting feeling of the neck seal. This was really bad before and after the dive outside of the water. Getting the neck seal over the head was also a chore.

This soft stretchy silicone solves both problems completely. Worth every penny and then some. If you dive dry this is a must! 10++++

  38. review by Mike Wagner on 5/11/2011
    Overall Rating

After having DRIS install the Neck Tite system in my drysuit, I installed a silicon neck seal. Laytex seals always gave me a headache, because they were always too tight. By the time i got them trimmed so they didn't squeeze my neck too tight, they would start leaking. I didn't have to trim the silicon seal at all, and it does not give me a headache.

  39. review by Keith Fillinger on 4/22/2011
    Overall Rating

Unlike other reviewers, I did have to trim my seal as it was very tight around my 17" neck. The silicon is very supple, incredibly stretchable, and is extremely comfortable. Also, the seal goes on easily. If the seal lasts a lot longer than standard latex seals, this will be a winner on all accounts. The only issue I had with ordering from DRIS is the seals were out of stock. However, it only took about a week for more to arrive. DRIS staff informed me of the delay, and they were very accommodating as they had my dry suit for alterations at the time. They offered to install a standard latex seal and then mail the silicon seal to me when they received their new stock. Thanks to DRIS for having such great customer service! Highly recommended!

  40. review by Steven Strohmeier on 3/2/2011
    Overall Rating

This seal is absolutely the best thing I've done to my drysuit. I waited a few months for DRIS to get these in, and am very happy I did. The greatest source of leaks with my drysuit was the neck (I have a skinny neck and big adams apple). No matter how I cut the seal or wore it, I always had a drip or leak from the neck. Not to mention, after about 100 dives the latex would stretch and I'd really get a leak.

I had a set of silicone wrist seals put on my suit in May 2010. After 100 dives they were just like new. So, I figured the neck seal would be about the same.

I dropped my suit off at DRIS to get this installed and they turned it around in a week. Amazing repair -- it looks better than many "factory" suits.

The silicone seal is fantastic against my neck. My first test was ice diving over President's Day. After 90 minutes in the water I had ZERO leaks and the seal was so comfortable that I forgot it was there.

An unexpected bonus is that my neck stayed warm -- I'm betting the silicone doesn't transfer heat as fast as latex. Either way, I'm really happy with the seal and DRIS's service.

worth the wait! black silicone neck seal from si tech ab has part number #61630 and "SILFLEX" imprinted on the sides. installs easily into the si tech neck tite system (#60177), but make sure an even lip surrounds the yellow ring before using the 'pizza cutter' tool. the seal has seven trimmable rings; however, it's soooo supple you almost don't need any! these silicone seals are a necessary aftermarket option for your whites fusion drysuit.

UPS Worldwide Saver International is the absolute fastest delivery method to any country in about 3 business days or less. You will also receive rapid in-house customs clearance when saving time is the utmost concern for receiving your package. UPS.com automatically e-mails you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Some addresses may require additional time for in-country transit due to the remote location of that address. For service availability and exact delivery time commitments visit the UPS.com website for information about your address or contact us for a more accurate quote.

*Your items will ship insured and you may pay some import duties and taxes based on your Local Government. Lost packages can only be replaced after USPS or UPS has issued payment for the lost items. This is why we recommend shipping with UPS for tracking purposes and faster repayment. We have not lost any packages to date, but things can happen.

You will notice that when you pick your shipping options, you will be provided with an ETA of arrival for the specified shipping you decide to go with. If you have any questions or need help with deciding which shipping option is the best for getting your product to you on time, please feel free to call us at (815) 267-8400, and we can help you in getting your package in time.

You will be provided with a tracking number when your product ships so you can track the status of your new products. Please remember that UPS does not count weekends into delivery times.

Feel free to call Dive Right In Scuba if you want to ensure we have your product in stock. We try to have all products in stock, but no matter how hard we try, sometimes we run out of an item. We will do everything in our power to ensure your products arrive in time for your trip or dive and to provide you with the service you deserve.

*Please note that if you receive free shipping and return a product, the shipping costs will be deducted on your return invoice. *

Thanks for all of your support!!

60/120-Day Return Policy

Hassle Free Returns

At Dive Right In Scuba, we are happy to extend our hassle free return policy to our customers: a 60/120-day Satisfaction Guarantee on ALL of our merchandise.

    • If it is within 60 days and the items are in new condition with original packaging, there is a 100% credit or refund* on any item.
    • If its within 30 days and the item is used, feel free to send it back and get a full 100% credit towards new equipment!  Thats right, you can send it back and get something different.  What do we do with these returns?  We have a used section on our website that we sell these at a discounted price!  * DRIS can, at our discretion, change this policy depending on the condition of the return.  Meaning, if you beat it up within 30 days and want to return it, you will NOT get a full refund.
    • If it is within 60 days and the items are used, or are not returned with the original packaging, it's not a problem, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 75% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any other product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba*. * This can be changed at our discretion based on how used or damaged a product is*
    • If it is between 60 - 120 days and the items are in new condition, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 100% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba
    • You never need to contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) –Simply return your product to us with the RMA Form, To ensure that your return/exchange is handled in a speedy manner, always include a copy of your receipt. We do recommend calling with any issues to see what the best course of action is, its not always to just send back….so just give us a call and lets figure out the best response!
    • If you have bought an item and it needs to be returned, your original shipping charges are non refundable.
    • Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  If you received Free Shipping on your order, and return it, the charges for the shipping will come out of your refund.  Shipping is inlcuded if you keep the product, a return voids the free shipping.
  • * Certain Items may incure a 10% re-stocking fee(can be higher dependings on custom options or special order).  High dollar items may have a re-stocking fee which covers transaction and shipping charges.  If it is an exchange, there might not re-stocking fee depending on the situation.  We are people too, so we try to make sure it works for everyone depending on what is going on.
  • * Custom items do not qualify for a full refund.  If an item doesn't fit, we will do everything to make sure you get a proper fit.  But, on custom items, there can't always be a 100% refund, due to the custom nature of the item.

To return an item, just follow the simple directions below and we’ll take care of the rest!

    1. Pack the item(s) securely. All returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging. Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
    2. Please include the RMA Form with a copy of your receipt.
    3. Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded.) We recommend shipping ALL products back with an Insured Carrier with tracking numbers. This is the only way to track the product to ensure we receive it. Dive Right In Scuba is not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to Shipping Carriers.

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 60 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Customer Service can be reached at 1-815-267-8400 Monday through Friday 11 am - 9 pm Central Time or by emailing us at info@diverightinscuba.com.
