  1. So Far, So Good review by Joseph on 6/9/2018
    Overall Rating

I am using this hose to replace my inflator hose for my BCD. I was able to easily place the Air 2 connection on it, and it seated with out issue. I am a taller and heavier guy, and this was the perfect length for me.

  2. Awesome regulator hose review by Scott on 5/3/2018
    Overall Rating

Extremely flexible and appears durable - this is the best hose I've used. Much improved from the rubber hoses.

  3. High Quality Hose review by Nathan on 1/19/2017
    Overall Rating

I tried out the MiFlex hose for the first time in the Cayman Islands last week. I tried it out with a 90 degree swivel adapter and a 30" hose to try out as an underarm system. The only issue i had was that it was a little short for me to use underarm if i wanted to look forward while horizontal. But if you use a BP/W i think it should work fine as it is less restricting in movement. All in all this in a very good hose that in very flexible for your regulators.

  4. Careful review by shawna on 12/1/2016
    Overall Rating

I ordinarily love these hoses but while doing a deep dive with a group (several of which were doing checkouts for sidemount diving) one individual who incorrectly routed his hose experienced and out of air situation due to the 84" hose kinking up. Now this was also the divers fault for incorrectly routing the hose which lead to the kink.

  5. High quality hoses review by HUBERT on 6/29/2016
    Overall Rating

I bought few of them to replace 2 scuba gear sets hoses + pony bottle one, even the BCD ones. No more rubber hoses ! Easy folding, easy guiding even under pressure. I would highly recommend them to anybody. Measure your rubber hose before buying to get the exact fit !

  6. Loved the color review by andrew on 6/27/2016
    Overall Rating

I wanted to replace the hose on a pony bottle from the standard black that came with the regulator to something more highly visible and distinguishable. I purchased the hi-vis yellow and I was rather surprised at just how bright the color was. The hose is very flexible and made for easy securing on the tank bands.

  7. Flexibile hose review by Alb on 4/21/2016
    Overall Rating

These hoses flex like the rubber ones can not. It is very strong and do things ordinary hoses can't do. It is a bit uncomfortable around the neck.

  8. Very nice hose review by David on 4/14/2016
    Overall Rating

This hose is great for bending into positions where a ordinary rubber hose will not do so well. It is durable and very bendable which can help organize your hoses. The color coding can help you also identify whihc hose is which for side mounting where you can have easily 4 regulator sets.

  9. Great hose review by albert on 4/6/2016
    Overall Rating

The hose is flexible so added with a ball pivoting hose connector, you can eliminate jaw fatigue. This is extremely comfortable except if it rubs against the neck. It is expensive versus a standard hose, but worth it for a premium product.

  10. Best hose review by clint on 4/1/2016
    Overall Rating

This is a very well made hose. It has excellent flexibility and is higher than rubber hoses. The only issue I have is that they are not as comfortable if it touches your skin like the back of your head.

  11. Very flexible review by jessi on 4/1/2016
    Overall Rating

This is a very flexible hose. It works very well. The hose is light and durable.

  12. Great hoses review by Eric on 3/27/2016
    Overall Rating

These work very well since they have more flexibility than normal hoses. You do not have to fight the hose to get things to be in a nice position.

  13. Good, but buoyant hoses review by Jason on 2/17/2016
    Overall Rating

The hoses work well, provided you're using the shorter lengths (<40"). Otherwise they get really floaty. It's pretty hard to use a 7' flex hose, as it will not stay where you want it to. They are far more flexible, and on my short hose I'd never go back to the standard rubber hoses.

  14. Great product! review by Paul on 10/17/2014
    Overall Rating

Light, ruggid and a cool replacement for rubber. I bought an 84" hose and highly recommend the long hose, bungied short hose set-up!

  15. Great hose, but it is hard to manage. review by mike on 5/13/2014
    Overall Rating

I purchased a 7' long version of one of these to use as a cave backup line/ main regulator. this hose is super light and very flexible, which is great to eliminate jaw fatigue. The problem I have is that this hose seems to have a memory that keeps it from laying the way I want. It can lay fine for a while then next think I know the the wrap around my neck loosens and the loop goes over my head. This is a little annoying but the as of right now the pros out weigh the cons and I will keep this one on my reg.

  16. Perfect with Atomic SS1 review by Matt on 12/13/2013
    Overall Rating

Purchased the adapter and used this with the Atomic SS1. The hose is very light (compared to the rubber hoses) and extremely flexible. It allowed a much greater range of movement on our SS1 and reduced resistance when the secondary is used. I recommend for all hose uses!

  17. review by Joseph Barker on 10/29/2013
    Overall Rating

Great hoses! Ran into a problem that my first stage has 1/2" SAE threads though. Nothing an adapter can't solve. DRIS was quick on shipment and I cannot wait to find something else to buy.

  18. review by will mcmanus on 9/4/2013

I prefer miflex hoses because in my opinion they are much more flexible, and when connected to my full face mask allow me to turn my head to the right without putting up a fight. I have had my hoses for 3 years and they are still going strong. For the price, i think they are worth it.

  19. review by Zachary Gilchrist on 7/2/2013

The Miflex Hoses are the hoses that all the other braided hoses get compared to and with good reason they are super flexible and last a long time.

Well made hose that will out last any other hose out there. Has great flexibility, and is lighter than standard rubber hoses. Would always recommend.

changed all my hoses to these type as they are much better than rubber also needed a blue hose, and dealing with the DRIS gang is always a pleasure, thanks

  22. review by Ron Kuist on 3/22/2013
    Overall Rating

I have switched out all of my standard low pressure hoses to MiFles on all of my regulators(that's 7 first stages....) I have been extremely happy with the performance of these hoses. The are lighter, more flexible, allow for better hose management, and are stronger than traditional style low pressure hoses. I do a lot a cave diving and need something that will stand up to the rigors I that sport has to offer.

  23. review by Jason Jakary on 11/29/2012
    Overall Rating

Good hose, works as advertised. When I ordered mine the color I wanted was out of stock, but so were a few other things at that time. Ended up getting an 84" blue for my primary and a 22" black for my secondary. Would recommend to anyone looking to get more flexibility out of a hose.

  24. review by Jay Schier on 11/13/2012

A very solid hose, light and super flexible. DRIS is the only shop I can find to offer the array of colours

  25. review by Michael Wheat on 2/6/2012
    Overall Rating

I bought both the 84 inch and 22 inch for my regs. Excellent construction and made hose routing easier. I will be converting all my hoses to MiFlex.

Would not keep me from buying - but one thing to be aware of.... While doing an air share drill on my donated long hose, I noticed it tended to be a little floaty. Bun when configured on you... You will never notice.

  26. review by Fraser Kelly on 11/24/2011
    Overall Rating

Just about to order a few more Miflex LP hoses for some new regs. I already have some and cant say enough good things about them. I use a 40" on my primary reg with a 90deg elbow, it goes under my right arm and up my chest. I cannot imagine a more comfortable way to dive! No more reg pulling/pushing or getting caught up on things. The Miflex hoses not only look awesome but are really flexible. I will definitely be using them on all my hoses from now on, maybe overkill on an inflator but at DRIS low prices I just buy the whole matching set. I use Phantom hoses on my HP which match perfectly.

  27. review by Dan Fretland on 3/11/2011
    Overall Rating

Great flexible and lightweight hoses with just a few issues to be aware of. Nice flexibility and tighter cornering on hose routing - a particularly nice feature for doubles configurations where routing can be an issue (especially on shorter manifolds). Be aware that the MiFlex 7' long hoses, due to their light weight and braided wrap, can get a bit floaty and slippery. Even when tucked under a light canister, my hose tends to migrate toward my manifold valve. Not a huge deal, just mildly annoying. Also, if the hose braiding begins to fray, I worry that it may endanger the integrity of my drysuit neck seal. For all BUT the 7' hose, MiFlex is fantastic.

  28. review by Michael Nador on 1/16/2011
    Overall Rating

This hose is flexible and dose work. I have a hard time getting it to lay the way I want it to. It may be that I am too fat and should have gotten a longer hose for my doubles? But it dose work. Jim at DRIS let me up-grade when I got a reg set (thanks). The people at DRIS are the best and I will keep buying from them.

  29. review by evan kornacki on 1/9/2011

the new standard. low pressure double braided hose from xs-scuba, model MLP26-BK. its pronounced MI-flex (and you have to do it with a British accent, too!) I've been buying these for a year now, and my kit has never been more flexible. just today, a student i dive-mastered for asked with skepticism "are those really pressurized?" yes, yes they were. mi-flex lp hoses are more flexible under pressure than standard oms hoses are without pressure. they pack small, letting me easily fit my coil in a carry on bag, and they're much more abrasion resistant.

the only issue I've faced is their diameter: i haven't found a strain-relief solution that fits tightly around the smaller mi-flex hoses. obviously, i'd only install this between the hose and first stage, as its a GUE requirement. so if anyone from xs scuba is listening, we need a tighter hose protector (maybe something heat-shrinkable) for these a.s.a.p.

With Miflex LP and BC hoses I have made final tuning of my scuba using non standard sizes of the hoses for primary regulator, octopus and wing. The hoses are light weight and extremely flexible. I forgot about jaw fatigue and protruding loops of standard hoses. My next step will be ordering Miflex HP hose. The water tight bags the hoses come in can be used for different purposes.

  31. review by Jon Benson on 11/6/2010
    Overall Rating

I bought one of these for use on an old Conshelf XIV and it REALLY made a difference compared to the old rubber hose. I use the standard setup (not hogarthian) and my old method was to turn the mouthpiece crooked to reduce jaw fatigue and the pulling of the hose, but with this miflex it is no longer necessary. I can still slightly feel the hose, but I don't feel that tug and it feels lighter on the jaw. Additionally, it folds up much easier for storage in my hard box when I am not diving. Although these are somewhat more expensive I definitely recommend them for at least your primary regulator.

I purchase a MiFlex hose at the Ghost Ship Festival in Milwaukee last March and I love it. It does everything the salesman demonstrated. I am a female diver over 50 years old and I have used it in the Caribbean and in the Great Lakes. Works equally well in both types of water as well as warm or cold water. I love the light weight flexibility of the hose and am ordering some more for my husband. Great product! I highly recommend it.

  33. review by Guil Barros on 8/13/2010

I just bought a set of these for my doubles and love them. Their flexibility make Hogarthian routing very easy as the hoses don't fight you. Additionally your spare 2nd with a shorter hose doesn't pull on you and is very comfortable. Highly recommended!

What can I say that you probably don't already know; this hose is COOL! I can't wait to swap my other hoses out.

  35. review by Bryce Bentley on 8/4/2010
    Overall Rating

After reading many reviews of the miflex hoses I decided to try a low pressure regulator hose for my primary regulator. I have the 24" miflex in black. When I first open the box I notice the great water tight bag that the miflex hose comes in. Very nice for keeping a tee shirt or wallet dry during dives. Next the construction on the hose is top notch. The hose is just like the reviews indicate very flexable and very light weight. I love the hoses. A+++

  36. review by Matthew Blasinski on 7/7/2010
    Overall Rating

These hoses are flexible and light weight and worth the extra couple of bucks. However, like many reviews say, it's not worth replacing all of your hoses right now, just wait until you'd normally need to replace hoses. The yellow is REALLY bright, which makes it great if you're trying to have a backup regulator that really stands out.

  37. review by michael buschman on 6/14/2010
    Overall Rating

I had done a lot of research on miflex to see if it was worth the investment for a low pressure hose and... ended up switching all of my hosing to miflex!!! I have to say that I am extremely happy with this product, excellent performance with much less weight and much more durability! The braiding is a little rough however, but a rash guard will do the trick (especially for DIR around the neck primary). I purchased a 5' hose and absolutely love it!

  38. review by William Lombardi on 6/9/2010

The MiFlex hose reduces strain on the second stage regulator and certainly was easy to install. A significant upgrade that will be appreciated on every dive.

More flexibility and the longer hose length has made my diving much more enjoyable.

I got this after some use of a friends primary while practicing air sharing, and loved it immediately. Since then, I bought it and rigged my own regulator setup with LP hoses and have absolutely no regrets. Wouldn't hesitate to buy more, if the need arose.

  41. review by Seth Endriss on 5/2/2010
    Overall Rating

From my experience the MiFlex hoses work well when a diver is having an issue with hose flexibility. Otherwise a standard hose would work just fine. When there is a issue with flexibility the MiFlex hoses really do solve the problem. They are lighter and more flexible than a normal LP hose.

  42. review by Nicolas Mayer-Rechnitz on 4/15/2010
    Overall Rating

It`s more flexible a comfortable to use.
But in my opinion is very expensive versus how comfortable it is compared to a standard hose.
In any event if for you the price is not important and you want a premium product that makes diving more comfortable I recommend that you buy it.

  43. review by Joe Swantek on 4/13/2010
    Overall Rating

Ordered the 84" size for my regulator set. This hose is flexible and strong, yet very light weight. No regulator 'pull' or 'shake' while moving through the water, no more hose loop sticking out past my shoulder waiting to snag on something. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone!

  44. review by Tim Greene on 3/31/2010
    Overall Rating

After logging several dives on my Miflex hoses over the past few months, I can't imagine ever diving without them, which is why I have converted all of my reg sets. Initially I was warned by several people that had used them in sw that they were a bit "floaty", but that has not been my experience when diving even with a 7' hose in a Hogarthian configuration.

  45. review by Kenneth Gustafson on 3/24/2010
    Overall Rating

I recently purchased Miflex hoses in 40" for deco and 7' and 24" for back gas. I like the way they bend much better than standard hoses. Packing is also easier as they are lighter and flexible. Abrasion resistance is better as well. Next will be replacing my argon bottle inflator and wing inflator hoses. I would purchase these again and my experiences with Diverightinscuba have been nothing but good. Highly recommended

  46. review by JIM CHAUDOIR on 3/11/2010
    Overall Rating

I got both a primary 7 foot hose and the second. They really are beautifully made. In my opinion worth the price IF they wear and last as long as stated. The 7 foot hose is a bit of a floater, but if you tuck it under your light canister or your knife, that's not a problem.

  47. review by Brian Dunavant on 3/4/2010
    Overall Rating

I got a 7' hose and a 22" hose for my regs. The 22" is great and fits perfect. The hose bends so easily I don't get any drag on my mouth when I use it. The 7' hose is kinda "floaty" so I have to keep it tucked under my shears or it will go all over the place so some people might prefer the stiffer normal hoses. I'm still happy with the miflex though and it's lighter. Every ounce less counts when you're traveling!

i bought both a 7 foot and a 36in set of these hoses and love both. the 36 in is a perfect size for a deco bottle even without a turret first stage. the seven footer i just used in thailand with out a can light and was able to tuck the extra length under my waist strap no problem and never had it slip out.

i will be replacing my back up reg hose and other deco bottle hose asap.

I switched my primary hose to this and really like it. I think I'm slighty less enamored by it than are some of the other reviewers. I don't notice a huge difference in the water. Out of the water it's really nice and packs down more and is easier to transport and stow. I think I would notice it more with a 7' primary which I'm looking at getting now.

  54. review by Ryan Lodge on 1/14/2010
    Overall Rating

I purchases these hoses for my primary and secondary second stages and was very impressed. I went with the 60" for my primary and 22" for my octopus and they are very impressive. They are extremely flexible and route easily when compared to traditional rubber hoses. They don't have the thin diameter that the HP hoses have but that is for air delivery reasons. Their durability, flexibility, and quality make these hoses the top of the line.

  55. review by James Ridgway on 9/10/2009
    Overall Rating

Just look at the other reviews - you will not go wrong by switching all of your gear to these hoses. I began my miflex journey with a drysuit inflator hose. Fast forward a few months and I replaced my primary regulator hose with a 40 inch low pressure hose - installation was simple and pain free. I then replaced my BC inflator/secondary reg hose. If you have an AIR2, or an SS1, it's very easy to get the hose and the appropriate adapter and install it - no worries and now you are more flexible and durable than ever! My final hose replacement was my high pressure hose when the miflex high pressure hoses were released. Get these hoses, replace those out-moded rubber hoses with the latest, light-weight, most durable and functional items you can. You will never go back to rubber hoses again...

I've had these now 6-7 months and love them! Super easy to store in my reg and reduces jaw fatigue! They are nothing you have to have, but they are surely something you want to have!

  57. review by Mike Pedersen on 9/16/2008
    Overall Rating

Extremely flexible. I added a 48" hose and a swivel to route my reg in a more comfortable position...I love it! The hose doesnt even seem like its there...all I feel is the reg in my mouth, and not the weight of a hose tugging at my teeth while diving.

Purchased this hose recently and could not be more pleased with it! I decided to go with an 84" (7') for my DIR style setup and things route must cleaner and I have no need for a swivel now!

I will soon purchase the 18" quick disconnect and an 18" octo hose!

If you decide to have expedited shipping, you will be credited the normal ground shipping fee and only pay the difference to the expedited shipping. If you return the product, you will not be credited back for the free shipping.

For product exchanges of a different color, size, or store credit, you can just send your purchase back to Dive Right In Scuba(at your expense) and we will ship you the new product(at our expense), or give you a store credit when the product is received. * Not including Internationan Orders* Not including multiple returns/exchanges

International Orders

Free Ground Shipping with Orders over $500

We also have some of the best shipping times in the world! Being centrally located in the US gives us prime placement. Most orders are to your door, with Standard Freight, in under 10 days!! With most other retailers you have to pay extra shipping costs to get it there that fast.

Dive Right In Scuba’s Free Shipping will apply to standard ground shipping anywhere in the World on orders totaling $500 or more (excludes rebreathers, tanks, compressors, and weights). Sale items also do not qualify for free shipping. If you work out a special price with Dive Right In Scuba in a quote or email, Free Shipping does NOT qualify. If you decide to have expedited shipping, you will be credited the normal ground shipping fee and only pay the difference to the expedited shipping. If you return the product, you will not be credited back for the free shipping.  This applies to addresses where USPS can make a delivery.  If you need other delivery methods, Free Shipping does NOT apply.  If you don't have a physical address to ship to (Utila), Free Shipping does NOT apply.

Super Saver International is offered for FREE on most orders that total over US $500 that are outside the US. The only problem is this shipping method does not provide realtime tracking information. The delivery time is typically 3 weeks or less, and can take longer to some of the more remote locations. Your items will ship insured and you may pay some import duties and taxes based on your Local Government. Lost packages can only be replaced after USPS has issued payment for the lost items.
US Postal Service Priority Mail International shipping offers you a low-cost and fast delivery option. Not counting time for the package to clear customs, it is about 2 weeks depending on your location. This option does not provide you with realtime tracking information.
US Postal Service Express Mail International is a very cost-effective choice for even faster delivery of your dive gear. This option typically takes about 1 week without counting customs clearing. As with the other USPS, there is no realtime tracking on your purchase. This is available in almost 200 countries around the globe.
UPS Worldwide Expedited International offers you a fast delivery option to more than 60 countries with rapid in-house customs clearance. Typical delivery times is 1 week to your address. UPS.com will automatically e-mail you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Our shopping cart will not offer you the UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping choice if that service is not available in your country.
UPS Worldwide Saver International is the absolute fastest delivery method to any country in about 3 business days or less. You will also receive rapid in-house customs clearance when saving time is the utmost concern for receiving your package. UPS.com automatically e-mails you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Some addresses may require additional time for in-country transit due to the remote location of that address. For service availability and exact delivery time commitments visit the UPS.com website for information about your address or contact us for a more accurate quote.

*Your items will ship insured and you may pay some import duties and taxes based on your Local Government. Lost packages can only be replaced after USPS or UPS has issued payment for the lost items. This is why we recommend shipping with UPS for tracking purposes and faster repayment. We have not lost any packages to date, but things can happen.

60/120-Day Return Policy

Hassle Free Returns

At Dive Right In Scuba, we are happy to extend our hassle free return policy to our customers: a 60/120-day Satisfaction Guarantee on ALL of our merchandise.

    • If it is within 60 days and the items are in new condition with original packaging, there is a 100% credit or refund* on any item.
    • If its within 30 days and the item is used, feel free to send it back and get a full 100% credit towards new equipment!  Thats right, you can send it back and get something different.  What do we do with these returns?  We have a used section on our website that we sell these at a discounted price!  * DRIS can, at our discretion, change this policy depending on the condition of the return.  Meaning, if you beat it up within 30 days and want to return it, you will NOT get a full refund.
    • If it is within 60 days and the items are used, or are not returned with the original packaging, it's not a problem, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 75% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any other product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba*. * This can be changed at our discretion based on how used or damaged a product is*
    • If it is between 60 - 120 days and the items are in new condition, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 100% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba
    • You never need to contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) –Simply return your product to us with the RMA Form, To ensure that your return/exchange is handled in a speedy manner, always include a copy of your receipt. We do recommend calling with any issues to see what the best course of action is, its not always to just send back….so just give us a call and lets figure out the best response!
    • If you have bought an item and it needs to be returned, your original shipping charges are non refundable.
    • Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  If you received Free Shipping on your order, and return it, the charges for the shipping will come out of your refund.  Shipping is inlcuded if you keep the product, a return voids the free shipping.
  • * Certain Items may incure a 10% re-stocking fee(can be higher dependings on custom options or special order).  High dollar items may have a re-stocking fee which covers transaction and shipping charges.  If it is an exchange, there might not re-stocking fee depending on the situation.  We are people too, so we try to make sure it works for everyone depending on what is going on.
  • * Custom items do not qualify for a full refund.  If an item doesn't fit, we will do everything to make sure you get a proper fit.  But, on custom items, there can't always be a 100% refund, due to the custom nature of the item.

To return an item, just follow the simple directions below and we’ll take care of the rest!

    1. Pack the item(s) securely. All returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging. Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
    2. Please include the RMA Form with a copy of your receipt.
    3. Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded.) We recommend shipping ALL products back with an Insured Carrier with tracking numbers. This is the only way to track the product to ensure we receive it. Dive Right In Scuba is not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to Shipping Carriers.

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 60 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Customer Service can be reached at 1-815-267-8400 Monday through Friday 11 am - 9 pm Central Time or by emailing us at info@diverightinscuba.com.
