    Having shopped the entire rack evaluating every dry suit option possible, I decided to go with the USIA Techniflex and I am totally pleased. The suit is made of extremely durable material which is an absolute must for New Jersey waters. Being that none of the stock sizes fit my body shape I had to go with a made to measure and it fits perfectly. Take the leap without hesitation because this suit delivers value that far exceeds the price tag.

    DRIS and USIA delivered my custom suit in about half the usual turnaround time so I could have it in time for my OW/dry suit cert dives. I was thrilled with the great customer service from DRIS, as always. I was unaware there was a custom option until I learned about it on ScubaBoard. At only $150 over the stock size price, this is a major bargain! I got the suit I wanted for about $1K less than another well-known manufacturer. Two thigh pockets are included, unlike some other manufacturers. It fits well, is easy to get into and out of. I've got about 10 dives on it and all have been dry. Make sure you get the replaceable seal system. I added the Si Tech QCP dry glove system after the fact and I'm diving late into the fall, dry and warm. Highly recommended suit I'm happy to tell everyone about.

    Just after four dive, my neck seal is no more. Had a blow out when taking it off. Would of thought that I would have gotten farther along then just four dives before having to replace it. The rest of the suit did a great job for me though. Suit fit me great and I stayed warm and dry. Also they could do a little better job with the bag that comes with the suit.

    So far I've dove 2 dives with this suit. It's much better than my old Fusion suit and the fit is great. I had selected the fit to be loose, which i think is the only thing I would have changed. It makes it feel like the suit kinda sags on me. The suspenders need a bit of work.

    Well, 3 months after ordering and the suit is finally here. The guys at DRIS were all extraordinarily helpful with getting the suit exactly how I wanted it and despite the wait this suit is well worth it. I haven't had a chance to dive it yet but I'll jot down my initial thoughts on it. First I'll talk about the custom sizing. The waist size, chest size, and height are all perfect. One caveat, however is that the perfect height makes it a little awkward/difficult to get my head into the suit but it's worth the awkwardness for how great the fit is. The arm and leg length are also nearly perfect, however there is a fair amount of space around my arms and legs. This is due to how awkwardly thin I am for my size, not any issues of production. I would certainly recommend anyone that buy this suit pay the little bit extra for custom sizing as its fit is fantastic. The hard boots fit well and are very comfortable. The p-valve is installed well and seems to be functioning correctly. The suspenders hold the suit up great but due to the fit they're hardly necessary. There are 2 zippered pockets on each leg with d-rings on the inside to clip gear to and mesh on the bottom to drain water. They seem very sturdy and have a decent amount of space. The sitech neck and wrist rings are barely noticeable and don't get in the way of anything. The silicone seals are very easy to get in and out of and they fit great. The fabric feels quite strong but also has a decent amount of stretch. I have no problem reaching over my head and behind my back, curling into a ball, hugging my arms around my whole body, or doing any other positions that would ever be necessary. I've never owned a drysuit before so I'm not sure how the front zipper is supposed to feel, but it's a bit odd and stiff in the way that it wraps around the front of my body, however, it doesn't seem like it will be in the way. Overall it all looks great and I would certainly recommend it for the price. There are few suits that you can get fully loaded, custom sized, and very sturdy for under $2000.

    I bought this suit specifically for a dive trip up to Isle Royale in June of this year, but haven't dove my wetsuit since. I needed a custom suit , as usual, the crew at DRIS was extremely helpful and kept me updated during the process. The one fault that I have with the suit is with heavy long underwear, it's hard to put on as it sticks to the inside. Not a huge complaint and easily overcome with some lube.

    I ordered this suit 'custom fitted' in order to be certain of a good fit. It is that. Not perfect, to be sure, but way better than an off the rack suit, for my body shape. I have some personal fit comments, but as it is difficult to translate measurements to actual manufacturing, I guess, some variations will occur. How they mount the wrist seals made the sleeves a little short, and how they fit the zipper into the front of the suit, for me, makes it bulge out, annoyingly. The inflator valve was out of spec, dimensionaly, which prevented the new inflator hose, provided with the suit, to actually fit the connection. USIA sent a new one, requesting that I return the faulty one, but the new one did not have a finishing disc on the button, so it looks unfinished. I think that was poor thinking on their part.
    DRIS service through the ordering and processing was excellent and I have no issues with them on this or any future orders. Thanks to them for the service.

    I have had the chance to try a lot of drysuits and if shell suit is your thing then this is among the best out there. This suit can be compared to some of the most expensive (Santi and the likes) out there. The techniflex material is similar in stretch to the Santi material except the suit costs half of the more expensive ones. The mother of all shell-suits at one half of the price.

    Because of my height, I knew I would need a custom dry suit. I shopped for months trying to find a reasonably priced option. After much reasearch, I went with the USIA Techniflex and am very happy with my choice. The suit is very well made and has many features similar o my boyfriends Waterproof suit which retails for twice as much. The only exception being that the USIA suit is bilam. It is easy to don, zip, and dive. For the money, you could not ask for a better suit! Not to mention, Mike and Debra were very helpful through out the ordering and shipping process.

  Super Saver International is offered for FREE on most orders that total over US $500 that are outside the US. The only problem is this shipping method does not provide realtime tracking information. The delivery time is typically 3 weeks or less, and can take longer to some of the more remote locations. Your items will ship insured and you may pay some import duties and taxes based on your Local Government. Lost packages can only be replaced after USPS has issued payment for the lost items.
  US Postal Service Priority Mail International shipping offers you a low-cost and fast delivery option. Not counting time for the package to clear customs, it is about 2 weeks depending on your location. This option does not provide you with realtime tracking information. 
  US Postal Service Express Mail International is a very cost-effective choice for even faster delivery of your dive gear. This option typically takes about 1 week without counting customs clearing. As with the other USPS, there is no realtime tracking on your purchase. This is available in almost 200 countries around the globe.
  UPS Worldwide Expedited International offers you a fast delivery option to more than 60 countries with rapid in-house customs clearance. Typical delivery times is 1 week to your address. UPS.com will automatically e-mail you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Our shopping cart will not offer you the UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping choice if that service is not available in your country.
  UPS Worldwide Saver International is the absolute fastest delivery method to any country in about 3 business days or less. You will also receive rapid in-house customs clearance when saving time is the utmost concern for receiving your package. UPS.com automatically e-mails you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Some addresses may require additional time for in-country transit due to the remote location of that address. At Dive Right In Scuba, we are happy to extend our hassle free return policy to our customers: a 60/120-day Satisfaction Guarantee on ALL of our merchandise.

    • If it is within 60 days and the items are in new condition with original packaging, there is a 100% credit or refund* on any item.
    • If its within 30 days and the item is used, feel free to send it back and get a full 100% credit towards new equipment!  Thats right, you can send it back and get something different.  What do we do with these returns?  We have a used section on our website that we sell these at a discounted price!  * DRIS can, at our discretion, change this policy depending on the condition of the return.  Meaning, if you beat it up within 30 days and want to return it, you will NOT get a full refund.  
    • If it is within 60 days and the items are used, or are not returned with the original packaging, it's not a problem, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 75% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any other product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba*. * This can be changed at our discretion based on how used or damaged a product is*
    • If it is between 60 - 120 days and the items are in new condition, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 100% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba
    • You never need to contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) –Simply return your product to us with the RMA Form, To ensure that your return/exchange is handled in a speedy manner, always include a copy of your receipt. We do recommend calling with any issues to see what the best course of action is, its not always to just send back….so just give us a call and lets figure out the best response!
    • If you have bought an item and it needs to be returned, your original shipping charges are non refundable.
    • Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  If you received Free Shipping on your order, and return it, the charges for the shipping will come out of your refund.  Shipping is inlcuded if you keep the product, a return voids the free shipping.
  • * Certain Items may incure a 10% re-stocking fee(can be higher dependings on custom options or special order).  High dollar items may have a re-stocking fee which covers transaction and shipping charges.  If it is an exchange, there might not re-stocking fee depending on the situation.  We are people too, so we try to make sure it works for everyone depending on what is going on.
  • * Custom items do not qualify for a full refund.  If an item doesn't fit, we will do everything to make sure you get a proper fit.  But, on custom items, there can't always be a 100% refund, due to the custom nature of the item.

 

To return an item, just follow the simple directions below and we’ll take care of the rest!

 

    1. Pack the item(s) securely. All returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging. Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
    2. Please include the RMA Form with a copy of your receipt.
    3. Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded.) We recommend shipping ALL products back with an Insured Carrier with tracking numbers. This is the only way to track the product to ensure we receive it. Dive Right In Scuba is not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to Shipping Carriers.

 

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 60 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
