Redefine Your Limits

Go Deeper, Stay Longer, Explore Further

For some divers, the recreational limits of 130 feet and "no decompression" are just the beginning. Technical diving is the art of going beyond those boundaries safely. It requires discipline, precise buoyancy, and a deeper understanding of physiology and equipment. At Dive Right In Scuba, technical diving is in our DNA. Whether you want to explore the pristine shipwrecks of the Great Lakes or navigate the complex cave systems of Florida and Mexico, our Technical Diving Courses provide the rigorous training you need to get there and back.

Choose Your Discipline

Tech diving isn't a single path; it’s a web of specialized skills. We break our training down into focused areas so you can build the diver you want to be:

  • Open Circuit: This is the foundation. Learn to handle double tanks or sidemount configurations, manage staged decompression stops, and utilize advanced gas mixes like Trimix to reach depths well below 200 feet.
  • Overhead Environments: When you can’t go straight up to the surface, the rules change. Our Cave and Advanced Wreck courses teach you the critical line protocols and team dynamics needed to explore inside the earth and steel.
  • Gas Blender: The deeper you go, the more the gas matters. Learn the science and safety behind mixing Nitrox and Trimix to support your own dives or work in a shop.
  • Professional Technical: Already a tech diver? Turn your experience into a career by becoming a Technical Instructor and mentoring the next generation of explorers.

Why Train Tech With Us?

We don't just teach technical diving; we live it. Our instructors are active explorers who dive cold, deep water on a regular basis. Training in the demanding conditions of the Midwest prepares you for anything the ocean can throw at you. If you can handle a tech dive here, you can handle one anywhere.

The deep is calling. Browse our technical courses and start your journey into the unknown today!
