Extend Your Range and Refine Your Skills

Take Your Training a Fin Kick Further

You have your Open Water card, and you are comfortable in the water. Now what? The Advanced Open Water courses are the natural next step. Many new divers think they need to be "advanced" to take these classes, but that is a myth. These courses are designed to make you advanced. They are about gaining experience under the supervision of an instructor so you can handle more challenging environments, deeper sites, and specialized equipment.

Choose Your Path: PADI and SDI

We offer flexibility in how you continue your education with both PADI and SDI options.

  • PADI Advanced Open Water & SDI Advanced Adventure: Think of these as a "sampling platter" of diving. You don't spend days in a classroom. Instead, you complete five different adventure dives. Navigation and Deep diving are usually required, but the rest is up to you. Want to try a Drysuit? Curious about Wreck diving? This is your chance to try them out with an instructor by your side.
  • SDI Advanced Diver: For those who want true mastery, the SDI Advanced Diver program is a prestigious rating. It requires you to complete four full Specialty courses and log 25 dives. This ensures that when you carry an "Advanced" card, you have the actual experience to back it up.

Why Move Beyond Open Water?

The biggest benefit of these courses is confidence. You will refine your buoyancy, learn to navigate without surfacing, and safely extend your depth limit beyond the standard 60 feet (18 meters). This opens up a massive list of dive sites—from deep shipwrecks in the Great Lakes to wall dives in the Caribbean—that are off-limits to entry-level divers.

Don’t let your training stop at the surface. Sign up for your Advanced Open Water course and dive deeper today!
