  1. Great Price, Great Hose! review by Jacob on 1/10/2019
    Overall Rating

I have no objections, the hose seems well made and is priced very aggressively. It's equal in quality to the milflex I purchased at my local dive shop for twice the money. The press fittings on the end of the hose don't look as pretty, but I value function and price over aesthetics. I will update this review if at any point I have issues with them.

  2. LP hose review by Veeraji on 11/24/2018

  4. Great Price for Great Hoses review by John on 8/31/2017
    Overall Rating

Bought both a 26" and 84" black hose to complete a long hose single tank regulator set. The hoses were the right price so I picked them up to see how I liked them. They are very flexible and light. Now I know that the next hose I'm getting is a DRIS scuba hose.

  5. Great hose... great price review by Herman on 6/28/2017
    Overall Rating

This hose appears to be as flexible as hoses costing twice as much. The braid was very tight with no loose threads and the crimps appear to be tight Very happy with the purchase. And as usual great communication when the order shipped and very fast shipping!!

  6. Great hoses! review by Calvin on 5/3/2017
    Overall Rating

These hoses are great: they're insanely flexible, and feel really solid. They're much easier to handle than rubber hoses because they don't drag on things as you pull them around. The hose doesn't rub against the metal fittings at all when you bend it, I don't feel any need to add hose protectors to these. The yellow color is obnoxiously bright, which I really like.

  7. recommend this hose review by Steve on 4/30/2017
    Overall Rating

Recommend this hose and especially recommend Dive Rite In SCUBA. Great deal and super fast shipping right to your doorstep. Using for my BO bottle set up. the five foot is a good length to allow flexibility, but not too long like a six or seven...

  8. Just say 3/8" standard review by RB on 4/7/2017
    Overall Rating

Great flexible hose, I wish they had more color variety in shorter lengths.
Keep in mind that this is 3/8" standard while some regulators like Mares Abyss has 1/2" output to 2nd stage.
So for those adapter is needed
It is hard to get 1/2" flex hose here in US.

  9. Excellent hose, and well priced! review by Robin on 3/12/2017
    Overall Rating

I bought the 30" hose to use with my i3 BCD inflator. It's a great deal, especially compared to similar braided hoses. The hose is very flexible and feels durable. Under pressure it does stiffen a little but remains quite flexible and you can even tie it in a knot.

  10. Does what it's supposed to do. review by James on 10/10/2016
    Overall Rating

I purchased the 40 inch hose to use for an octo with an Epic 12 setup. The hose performs well, no issues to note. Seems to be a great value. The flexible braided hose is far and away easier to route than rubber. Everything appears to be very solidly built with quality machining.

  11. Braided low pressure hose review by Matthew on 9/11/2016
    Overall Rating

These braided low pressure hoses are nice and cheaper than Miflex. They flex more than normal rubber hoses, so they pull the regulator to the side less, reducing jaw strain. I have several of these in all of the technical hose lengths except for the long hose - which I'm considering replacing as well.

  12. great Item review by andrew on 6/27/2016
    Overall Rating

I bought these hoses to replace some older rubber ones on the recommendation of a friend. After trying them I love them, they aren't as stiff as the standard rubber which makes for easier routing and more comfortable on my jaw. I did some testing to make sure it would not kink as I have heard other hoses can do which causes an OOA situation.

  13. awesome product review by andrew on 6/18/2016
    Overall Rating

I've used several of these hoses in the past and have loved them. They are incredibly flexible as well as durable. I would highly recommend them, not to mention I love how many options in length you are given. I use a 5' on my primary regulator combined with a swivel that makes for ease of moment and is very easy to pass off in emergency situations.

  14. Great Hose review by Chris on 6/2/2016
    Overall Rating

You can not beat this hose for the price. I have gotten these hoses from the 84" all the way down to the 22" and they are all well made! Very flexible, lays well, very durable and I would recommend them to anyone needing a quality hose. Can't go wrong with DRIS!

  15. lightweight review by joseph on 4/29/2016
    Overall Rating

I have mixed feelings on these. I bought a 7ft hose for cave diving. the braided will rub your neck when wrapped around. it also seems floaty. But, it is lightweight and very flexible. I believe I will keep it as the pro's outweigh the cons

  16. High quality, flexible, light weight review by Philippe on 4/18/2016
    Overall Rating

The flexibility is a vast improvement over my old regular hose, an excellent change in my kit and I won't be going back.

  17. Great Hose - Great Price review by Steve on 3/30/2016
    Overall Rating

Great hose for the money- Seems very well made and love the lighter weight compared to the standard rubber hoses.

  18. Great product for the price. review by Robb on 3/23/2016
    Overall Rating

I bought the 84in hose for my doubles set up because of the reasonable price, i wasnt intentionally after braded hoses. After receiving the hose i was beyond impressed with the quality and flexibility of the hose. Will be slowly replacing oll my low pressure hoses with these as time goes one.

  19. Good value upgrade from rubber review by John on 1/26/2016
    Overall Rating

This hose is significantly more flexible than the rubber hose it replaced, and appears to be of similar quality to the more expensive name brand version. The outer braid is not particularly smooth - I expect it could irritate skin if your hose routing rubs your neck repeatedly, but it seems to be durably constructed.

  20. Great Value review by Kerneels on 1/19/2016
    Overall Rating

It's a hose, and does what hoses are supposed to do at a very competitive price. I use them on my primary and deco regs and I will be buying more.

  21. great hose review by Toma on 12/26/2015
    Overall Rating

the hose is great compare with other named brand, they are well built ,will be recommended

  22. Excellent Hoses review by James on 12/18/2015
    Overall Rating

Very flexible, solid construction, not too much to say about a hose but these are just as good as the name brand and much more wallet friendly. Would/will purchase again!

  23. Great hose at a very reasonable price review by David T on 8/17/2015
    Overall Rating

These are great hoses at a very reasonable price. Super flexible and route easily. Will be ordering more to replace me other LP hoses.

  24. Extremely supple and high quality review by David T on 8/8/2015
    Overall Rating

I bought some DRIS double braided LP hoses and when I got them I was shocked at how supple these hoses are. Great price and the hoses appear to be excellent quality.

  25. Great hoses review by Travis on 7/27/2015
    Overall Rating

I bought a used reg set which needed new hoses (thanks hose protectors aaargh) and decided while I was at it to go ahead and upgrade to these flex hoses.

I also bought a 110 degree swivel adapter to help with the pulling. Turned out I didn't even need the swivel. All I needed was the hose. Bought the 60" for a DIR primary setup and I love it.

No pulling, no tugging and couldn't even feel it when in the water. Wife's jealous so now I have to update her reg set with these, too!

  26. It's a hose review by Mark on 7/12/2015
    Overall Rating

I only have good things to say about these hoses. I guess the only time you really notice your hoses is when you upgrade or have a failure. I would recommend these hoses.

  27. Great lightweight flexible hoses! review by Mark7 on 6/28/2015
    Overall Rating

These hoses are great for traveling. Lightweight and flexible for packing into your luggage when traveling.

  28. Great braided hose at great price review by Clifton on 6/23/2015
    Overall Rating

This hose is much more flexible than a rubber hose, which allows for more streamlined hose routing.

  29. Good quality - highly flexible review by James on 6/1/2015
    Overall Rating

I like the braided LP hoses they are much more flexible than standard rubber hoses. This translates to less jaw fatigue on long dives. The pride is more reasonable than many suppliers which is why I gave DRIS a try.
I bought one n November of 2014 and it still looks like new after about 30 dives.

  30. Slick upgrade review by Dan on 3/18/2015
    Overall Rating

Wanted to spice up my regs and this did the trick. Smooth, slim and light. It is also nice to move my head with out the reg trying to pull out of my mounth.

  31. Braided hoses review by Mike on 1/5/2015
    Overall Rating

These are to replace my 9 year old braided hoses that are starting to fray and that use included two years of living and diving in Cozumel. The others are for my wife who i just convinced to use them. I'll never go back to rubber hoses.

  32. Flexible and durable review by Kevin on 12/25/2014
    Overall Rating

These hoses are very flexible compared to traditional hoses. This makes it comfortable during the dive and helps with reg pull and they feel lighter as well. Recommended.

  33. Whoot whoot beats using swivel for sure! review by Jamie on 11/14/2014
    Overall Rating

These braided hoses is probably the best purchase I have made since my drysuit purchase. It definitely gives a lot better head mobility verses using a swivel on the second stage. The blue and yellow colors are quite bright and makes it easy to distinguish my regs from others.

  34. Great upgrade! review by Bret on 7/23/2014
    Overall Rating

These should be one of your first rig upgrades. Exactly as advertised. Well worth replacing all your hoses with these.

  35. Great hose review by mike on 5/13/2014
    Overall Rating

I bough one of these in 18" to use as an AAS hose on a necklace. this hose is great and light and very flexible with eases jaw fatigue. I will warn you though, 18" is a little to small for what I needed should have went a little longer like a 22".

  36. The only hose I'll buy review by Chris on 3/12/2014
    Overall Rating

I will never go back to standard hoses after using braided. DRIS has the best selection and best price on these..don't miss out.

  37. Fantastic hoses review by Austin on 2/25/2014
    Overall Rating

I purchased these to change to a hogarthian singles tank setup and these shipped quickly. They are incredibly flexible, and route very easily. They seem robust, and hopefully they last a long time.

  38. Excellent and Light review by Ayisha on 2/22/2014
    Overall Rating

I can't believe how light and flexible these hoses are, they're awesome! They fit so much easier in my regulator bag that I can now fit 2 reg sets and then some, whereas I could only carefully fit one reg set in there before. Packing with these hoses will save precious weight for travelling too. Good job DRIS and at a reasonable cost, too. I might just replace all my hoses!

  39. As soft as i expect review by JUNNAN on 1/10/2014
    Overall Rating

Way more soft than rubber hose, brings more Comfort, and this hose is as same top quality as you can get.Very good for your scuba dive regulator.

  40. great very flexable hose excellent when used as an eight-foot main hose review by michael on 11/26/2013
    Overall Rating

I love this hose, I received it on a hog D2 regulator set in an eight-foot hose length. I have always hated the way the standard eight-foot hose sticks out when you wrap it around your body it feels like you are diving with a very stiff python wrapped around you. In addition, when you try to wrap the standard hose up it is like wrapping a cable and takes a lot of room up in your bag.
This hose is very very loose and fits great when wrapped around the body it feels more like you are carrying a loose rope then a cable. Much more comfortable and stream lined. Moreover, when you go to put it away it will quite literally wrap around the first stage, it takes a lot less room to store and use. I like this hose so much that I am going to replace all my hoses with these. To top it off they cost a lot less then the miflex hoses, if they hold up anywhere near as long as my old hoses do then they are one heck of a good buy.

  41. review by Ken Tran on 10/5/2013
    Overall Rating

Ordered my first double braided hose couple of weeks ago. It seems to be a good built product so far. Quality is not any less than that of Mi-flex. The flexibility is just superior to rubber hose. The price is also great. The only thing left is durability, which we will tell in a year. But for now, it's worth the try. Thanks DRIS for providing a great alternative option of the pricey mi-flex to your customers.

  42. review by Alasdair MacLeod on 9/14/2013
    Overall Rating

I purchased a pair of the double braided low pressure hoses to go with the Poseidon Xstream swivels that i purchased from DRIS. For my sidemount rig, I needed one 32" hose and one 84" hose. These hoses are about 1/3 of the weight of the factory Poseidon hoses, and are much more flexible. The flexibility of these hoses make them easier to deploy during an S-Drill, easier to stow, and MUCH EASIER to get into the reg bag after the dive!

Shipping was fast and easy from DRIS. Can't beat the service here.

  43. review by Christian Jones on 8/7/2013
    Overall Rating

I purchased a 5' hose for my primary regulator. This is hose is very light and flexible. I'm told it gets even more comfortable after it breaks in a little. I paired this up with a 90 degree adapter and it's pretty comfortable.

This was my first braided hose and I can say I just placed an order to swap over all my hoses, the flexibility is amazing and the price can't be beat!

  46. review by Zachary Gilchrist on 6/19/2013

Braided hose works just as good as the other name brand hoses for less than half the price. I use these hoses on all of my regulators. Dive right in Scuba did a great job as usual getting them to me in a timely manor.

  47. review by John Gayle on 5/9/2013
    Overall Rating

High quality hose got the 36 inch long for my deco setup this is a good length if you have a swivel 1st stage otherwise get 40 inch if you have none swivel 1st stage routes nicely

  48. review by Brandon Whiteman on 4/10/2013
    Overall Rating

It's a hose. It's definitely more flexible which helps with routing. The only caution is if you use it as a long hose for your second stage, it can be rough on the back of your neck.

  49. review by Jason House on 4/5/2013
    Overall Rating

Great low pressure hoses- very flexible - seems to reduce mouth fatigue for me. Very light and great for travel and domestic use alike. Minimal "float" and extremely durable. DRIS has every practical hose length for tech and sport diving.

I love these things... they are super flexible and light. I wish I'd used them years ago. And at sixteen bucks they are a steal.

  52. review by Jeffrey Messenger on 2/24/2013

Braided hose was just as described and works flawlessly. It is cheaper than other online retailers while being the same quality. DRIS is the only place I shop!

  53. review by Justice Welburn on 2/21/2013
    Overall Rating

I bought a 22" and 5' hose and I'm quite pleased with them. The braiding is nice and smooth, which I'm pleased with. Other hoses I've tried in the past have been rather rough and coarse, which can be a little disconcerting when it spends it's time next to other rubber bits as well as uncomfy when it rubs against your neck. Nice, light and flexible as advertised. The order process was easy, painless, and I was kept informed at every step from order receipt to delivery.

  54. review by Jim Pruitt on 1/19/2013
    Overall Rating

I got one of these as an experiment, to see if it would help out with the octo hose routing on my left post (DS4 first). It did--even though the hose still bends as it hits the shoulder of the tank, there is less resistance as I snug the reg down. The necklaced reg also sits better against my chest.

  55. review by Santiago Polo on 1/16/2013
    Overall Rating

I'm currently using two of these, one for my primary and the other for my redundant. These work excellent, and I love these hoses. They're such a huge improvement over the stiffer rubber hoses I've used for years. The weight is much lighter for travel, they're so much more flexible, and because of this added flexibility I believe they may last longer. Haven't had them long enough to know but looks pretty good so far. Buying through DRIS also couldn't be easier. Quick shipping, smooth transaction, and I've had nothing but positive experiences with Mike and team when it comes to Q&A.

  57. review by Bob Dankert on 1/3/2013
    Overall Rating

These are great low pressure hoses. There is no reason to spend extra money to buy the more expensive line of braided hoses, these are just as good! They are a bit lighter than rubber hoses and much more flexible under various conditions. These seem very well built, very similar to the various other brands of braided hose on the market. DRIS was great to work with and of course the order was processed very quickly!

  58. review by Casey Will on 12/22/2012
    Overall Rating

These are a fantastic value. They're lightweight and extremely flexible. Very comfortable underwater (no pulling!). Like any other braided hose on the market, they have an inherent 'twist' in how they want to lay, which can sometimes be a bit of a distraction, but it's certainly not enough of a detriment to take off a full star for. I replaced all the rubber hoses on my reg set with braided hoses and it's lighter and packs much tighter than before.

  59. review by Peter Tucker on 12/8/2012

These are great- much more flexible than regular hoses- and price is awesome.

  60. review by Jack Lund on 11/4/2012

I purchased the 40 inch hose in black. After diving this weekend I can say that I am very pleased with the value of this hose. I also own several LP miflex2 hoses and can say that they are very similar. If you're on the fence I would go with the generic DRIS hose.

International Orders

Free Ground Shipping with Orders over $500

We also have some of the best shipping times in the world! Being centrally located in the US gives us prime placement. Most orders are to your door, with Standard Freight, in under 10 days!! With most other retailers you have to pay extra shipping costs to get it there that fast.

Dive Right In Scuba’s Free Shipping will apply to standard ground shipping anywhere in the World on orders totaling $500 or more (excludes rebreathers, tanks, compressors, and weights). Sale items also do not qualify for free shipping. If you work out a special price with Dive Right In Scuba in a quote or email, Free Shipping does NOT qualify. If you decide to have expedited shipping, you will be credited the normal ground shipping fee and only pay the difference to the expedited shipping. If you return the product, you will not be credited back for the free shipping.  This applies to addresses where USPS can make a delivery.  If you need other delivery methods, Free Shipping does NOT apply.  If you don't have a physical address to ship to (Utila), Free Shipping does NOT apply.

Super Saver International is offered for FREE on most orders that total over US $500 that are outside the US. The only problem is this shipping method does not provide realtime tracking information. The delivery time is typically 3 weeks or less, and can take longer to some of the more remote locations. Your items will ship insured and you may pay some import duties and taxes based on your Local Government. Lost packages can only be replaced after USPS has issued payment for the lost items.
US Postal Service Priority Mail International shipping offers you a low-cost and fast delivery option. Not counting time for the package to clear customs, it is about 2 weeks depending on your location. This option does not provide you with realtime tracking information.
US Postal Service Express Mail International is a very cost-effective choice for even faster delivery of your dive gear. This option typically takes about 1 week without counting customs clearing. As with the other USPS, there is no realtime tracking on your purchase. This is available in almost 200 countries around the globe.
UPS Worldwide Expedited International offers you a fast delivery option to more than 60 countries with rapid in-house customs clearance. Typical delivery times is 1 week to your address. UPS.com will automatically e-mail you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Our shopping cart will not offer you the UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping choice if that service is not available in your country.
UPS Worldwide Saver International is the absolute fastest delivery method to any country in about 3 business days or less. You will also receive rapid in-house customs clearance when saving time is the utmost concern for receiving your package. UPS.com automatically e-mails you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Some addresses may require additional time for in-country transit due to the remote location of that address. For service availability and exact delivery time commitments visit the UPS.com website for information about your address or contact us for a more accurate quote.

*Your items will ship insured and you may pay some import duties and taxes based on your Local Government. Lost packages can only be replaced after USPS or UPS has issued payment for the lost items. This is why we recommend shipping with UPS for tracking purposes and faster repayment. We have not lost any packages to date, but things can happen.

You will notice that when you pick your shipping options, you will be provided with an ETA of arrival for the specified shipping you decide to go with. If you have any questions or need help with deciding which shipping option is the best for getting your product to you on time, please feel free to call us at (815) 267-8400, and we can help you in getting your package in time.

You will be provided with a tracking number when your product ships so you can track the status of your new products. Please remember that UPS does not count weekends into delivery times.

Feel free to call Dive Right In Scuba if you want to ensure we have your product in stock. We try to have all products in stock, but no matter how hard we try, sometimes we run out of an item. We will do everything in our power to ensure your products arrive in time for your trip or dive and to provide you with the service you deserve.

60/120-Day Return Policy

Hassle Free Returns

At Dive Right In Scuba, we are happy to extend our hassle free return policy to our customers: a 60/120-day Satisfaction Guarantee on ALL of our merchandise.

    • If it is within 60 days and the items are in new condition with original packaging, there is a 100% credit or refund* on any item.
    • If its within 30 days and the item is used, feel free to send it back and get a full 100% credit towards new equipment!  Thats right, you can send it back and get something different.  What do we do with these returns?  We have a used section on our website that we sell these at a discounted price!  * DRIS can, at our discretion, change this policy depending on the condition of the return.  Meaning, if you beat it up within 30 days and want to return it, you will NOT get a full refund.
    • If it is within 60 days and the items are used, or are not returned with the original packaging, it's not a problem, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 75% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any other product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba*. * This can be changed at our discretion based on how used or damaged a product is*
    • If it is between 60 - 120 days and the items are in new condition, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 100% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba
    • You never need to contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) –Simply return your product to us with the RMA Form, To ensure that your return/exchange is handled in a speedy manner, always include a copy of your receipt. We do recommend calling with any issues to see what the best course of action is, its not always to just send back….so just give us a call and lets figure out the best response!
    • If you have bought an item and it needs to be returned, your original shipping charges are non refundable.
    • Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  If you received Free Shipping on your order, and return it, the charges for the shipping will come out of your refund.  Shipping is inlcuded if you keep the product, a return voids the free shipping.
  • * Certain Items may incure a 10% re-stocking fee(can be higher dependings on custom options or special order).  High dollar items may have a re-stocking fee which covers transaction and shipping charges.  If it is an exchange, there might not re-stocking fee depending on the situation.  We are people too, so we try to make sure it works for everyone depending on what is going on.
  • * Custom items do not qualify for a full refund.  If an item doesn't fit, we will do everything to make sure you get a proper fit.  But, on custom items, there can't always be a 100% refund, due to the custom nature of the item.

To return an item, just follow the simple directions below and we’ll take care of the rest!

    1. Pack the item(s) securely. All returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging. Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
    2. Please include the RMA Form with a copy of your receipt.
    3. Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded.) We recommend shipping ALL products back with an Insured Carrier with tracking numbers. This is the only way to track the product to ensure we receive it. Dive Right In Scuba is not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to Shipping Carriers.

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 60 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Customer Service can be reached at 1-815-267-8400 Monday through Friday 11 am - 9 pm Central Time or by emailing us at info@diverightinscuba.com.
