About 2" Tech SPG - by Dive Rite SKU: RG-2762

A clean, black and white face means the Tech SPG is easy-to-read. This naked gauge has a 2-inch diameter with a 1.75-inch face (RG2762).

A Bourdon tube gauge, the Tech SPG is calibrated to 5000-psi in 100-psi increments (360-Bar in 10-Bar increments) for the highest level of accuracy. A tempered glass face is impact and scratch resistant, while the luminescent dial makes it easier to read in low light situations.

Comes standard as a naked SPG with a spool to attach a hose swivel to the gauge. The Tech SPG is suitable for oxygen service and is CE approved.

  • Hose lengths are dependent on diver preference and application. Here are some standard hose lenths as a starting point:
  1. Single tank diving: 32" hose
  2. Backmount doubles: 24-26", depending on height of diver
  3. Sidemount tanks: 6-9" hose length, depending on diver preference

Proposition 65

Safe Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 – Warnings Required

WARNING: This Dive Right In Scuba product can expose you to cretin chemicals which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

We appreciate your decision to purchase Dive Right In Scuba products to provide the best in water experience. We take our job seriously! You may have noticed that our products now show a warning label at point of sale referring to carcinogens and birth defects. You may also have begun to see warnings related to carcinogenic substances or substances causing birth defects prominently displayed in hotel lobbies, hospitals, or other places of business recently. These warnings are required by the State of California, and we believe that an explanation of the California statute legislating the requirement will provide you valuable information regarding the relative risks of the chemicals that may be present in consumer products.

In 1986, the State of California passed the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act; otherwise known as “Proposition 65” or "Prop 65". Prop 65 requires businesses like ours to disclose to individuals the presence of chemicals listed in the Act prior to point of sale. The regulations implementing this Act have been amended over time with the most recent updates will take effect on August 30, 2018. There are more than 900 chemicals on the Prop 65 Chemical List, including many chemicals that are found in components of a wide array of consumer goods or are used to manufacture components that make up consumer goods.

Prop 65 does not establish acceptable concentrations for any listed chemical; however, the agency which enforces it has established what is called "safe harbor" exposure levels for about one third of these chemicals below which warnings are not required. These "safe harbor" are established for listed carcinogens based on the quantity of the chemical that would result in one excess case of cancer in an exposed population of 100,000, assuming lifetime (70-year) exposure at the level in question. A similar process is used to establish safe harbor levels for listed reproductive toxicants. Additional information in plain language on safe harbor levels is available from the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment at http://oehha.ca.gov/Prop65/background/p65plain.html

At Dive Right In Scuba, the safety of your in water experience is our highest priority. We go to great effort to select materials that offer superior value, quality, and durability while also being generally recognized as safe and reliable for the full life of the product. Dive Right In Scuba also works closely with many regulatory bodies, such as the US Coast Guard and Underwriter’s Laboratories, to ensure the longevity of your on-water safety through targeted selection of durable, long lasting materials and components that undergo significant validation testing before being used to manufacture end items. Sometimes the safety promise we offer appears at odds with the health and safety requirements of other legislation in certain parts of the world when some regulations are updated ahead of others. To ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, Dive Right In Scuba has placed a warning on products that contain a Prop 65 listed chemical, either directly or as a part of the raw material supply chain. This allows us to comply with California law and provide our California consumers with the disclosure required by Prop 65, while still promising the safest on water experience possible.

Dive Right In Scuba is working diligently with regulatory bodies and our own manufacturing partners to continue to improve our product performance and reduce the presence of less desirable chemicals. Water is a precious resource we all share that is important to the health and well-being of our planet and all people. Our goal is to continue to enhance your water life experience while reducing our overall impact to the planet and, in particular, its waterways. While it is a bit of a juggling act to achieve, we are confident you will see continued improvement in both the immediate and long term future. We hope this explanation will enable you to understand why you will be seeing warnings on some our products.

Thank you for your continued use of Dive Right In Scuba products.

  1. I love this SPG! review by Mark Easter on 6/12/2017
    Overall Rating

    I love this SPG!
I have never relied on the RED Zone.
I plan and dive knowing my gas supply and find no need for it.
I like that 0-500 PSI is not unobstructed. Add a SS or Brass clip (your preference) and you are Set! I plan to order several more for my Deco bottles.

  2. Great for pony tank review by jessi on 4/1/2016

I use this one on of my pony tans. It is small and easy to read and reliable.

  3. Simple and great review by Eric on 3/25/2016

I read all SPGs are pretty much made by the same manufacturer in Italy. This is a simple to read and great SPG. It is durable and accurate, which is what you want in a SPG.

  4. Sturdy review by Kerneels on 1/18/2016

Easy to read and sturdy. Had no problem reading it in the dark.

  5. Strong built review by Toma on 10/1/2015

  7. Could be alittle bigger review by Jared on 7/23/2015
    Overall Rating

This pressure gauge works as it should
it is a touch small for your primary spg but as a side mount or stage bottle I think it would be awesome.
I love the luminescent face plate that alowes it to be read in the dark.
    priced just right.

  8. Love the gauge review by Mark on 7/12/2015
    Overall Rating

This gauge works well and is easy to read underwater. I always love the quality of the Dive Rite Gear.. I prefer the white face to the black one.

  9. Excellent for technical diving review by Myles on 7/11/2015
    Overall Rating

This is a great SPG for technical diving. It is both durable and accurate. Additionally iris the perfect size that is a mix of easy to read but not too big.

  10. Very good easy to see numbers, good price review by James on 10/15/2014
    Overall Rating

I have owned quite a few SPGs. I prefer the all metal with glass face as I have had a plastic gauge that imploded on a deep dive. I do wish it had a slim protective boot with a clip point but that is not a critical problems since I can tie a clip to the neck. The 2 inch diameter is a good size. I prefer a white face with simple numbers and this fits that preference. I have generally have very good experiences with dive rite products and the low price of this one prompted me to purchase.

  14. Great, luminescent SPG review by Ayisha on 2/22/2014
    Overall Rating

I got this SPG for my stage bottle and it's excellent, easy to read, a good size but not too big, with a luminescent dial. It's easy to read in dark or low viz situations. Priced right by DRIS. Thanks!

  15. Poor layout review by Abdul Aziz on 12/30/2013
    Overall Rating

SPGs have to have a lay out simple enough for a diver under narcosis to understand. When I am at 130, I need to concentrate a lot to make sense of numbers. I need red bar to tell me GET OUT! This lay out is not idiotized enough for a narced diver to make sense.

  16. review by Justin Perez on 11/12/2013
    Overall Rating

Great value. Looks nice, easy to read, accurate and keeps the clutter down. I'm sure all of these gauges are made in the same factory, just with different back faces. DRIS offers an unbeatable price for this high quality gauge and their customer service is unparalleled.

  17. review by Douglas Boyce on 11/12/2013
    Overall Rating

I have this gauge on my tech rig now - it works well, is easy to read and at this price, I'll be getting a spare with my next order.

  18. review by Geoffrey Rand on 11/3/2013
    Overall Rating

This is a great SPG and an even better price. I like that it doesn't have the red zone from 500psi-0psi that most SPGs have. If you are a competent diver, you will be keeping track of your gas consumption and this red area is only a distraction that would make reading your SPG at a critical time tougher than it needs to be. Fortunately, all this is avoided with this well designed SPG.

  19. review by Rick Thomas on 10/24/2013

As all diverite products the quality is great and made in the USA. Recently purchased this for a tech reg set and I have been please with its performance.

Great SPG. This one was discounted when I bought it, at least 20 bucks less than others and so far it has held up fine. great visible display.

  26. review by Christopher Dengler on 5/29/2013
    Overall Rating

I like this SPG, it's definitely built to last, and big enough to read easily. My only gripe is that the glow-in-the-dark back isn't very bright after shining a dive light on it. It's readable, but not great. My other SPG is 10x brighter, which is nice for night dives. Unfortunately it isn't as rugged, and it is a bit smaller/harder to read the this SPG.

  27. review by Hector Santana Aviles on 5/12/2013
    Overall Rating

This is an awesome SPG. It feels solid, is Heavy, easy to read and dept, perfect size, and couple with a 33" hose and a re-tractor provides perfect symbiosis and streamlining in a rig. I used this for the first time on some cold water diving on rocky areas with heavy surge waves and every other annoying condition I could think of. This SPG hit the rocks more times that I can think of since the waves could carry my to the rocks and upon inspection of this when nI surfaced, NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH_ DENT OR ANYTHING OF THE MATTER! And the cherry on top of it all, Dive Right's awesome service.

  28. review by Greg Carroll on 5/3/2013
    Overall Rating

Perfect SPG. It feels solid - noticeably heavy compared to low-quality SPGs. The 0-3000 psi range is nearly 90 degrees around which gives you a little more resolution compared to the majority of SPGs. Face is clean and easy to read.

  29. review by Frank Cammarata III on 4/2/2013

The on line order process was easy and fast. Delivery was quicker than expected. Product was exactly as described on the web catalog an exactly what I was looking for. I like the large display and look forward to getting in the water and testing its readability.

The is an excellent pressure gauge at a great price. It seem to be made very well and should hold up well....time will tell.

Dive Rite makes some really good stuff and I have never been disappointed by their level of detail and functionality that they deliver.

  31. review by Scott Mitten on 2/15/2013
    Overall Rating

Got 2 for my Deco Tanks. It is what it says. :) A little thicker than I would prefer, but you can't beat the price. The face is easy to read and it tucks in nicely with a 6" HP hose.

  32. review by Andrew Morency on 1/20/2013
    Overall Rating

I just purchased two of these gauges. Not much to say but this seams to be the standard old brass and glass SPG that most companies sell but with the Diverite face on it. I like the fact the face is unobstructed without the red "safety" markings at 500PSI. The picture dose not show it but it does come with a high pressure spool.

If, within 60 days of your purchase from Dive Right In Scuba, you find the same item advertised by DRIS or another authorized SCUBA dealer for less, show us the ad and we'll give you 100% of the difference as a credit towards your next purchase of scuba diving equipment!  Whether you live in Joliet, Naperville, Chicago, Indiana, or Australia, we will give you the same great service as if you were standing in our store!

100% Price Protection does not apply to special order products (ie: Products that do not appear on our website)

How does it work?
Well, once we are able to verify the competitors lower price, we will approve the pricematch.  This will send you an email, and the price will automatically change for you to purchase at the new low price. For instance, if we are selling a product for $200 and you find it elsewhere for $180, your price with Dive Right In Scuba will be $180. To take advantage of this promotion and give us a call at 815-267-8400 or use our Price Match form on every product page.

* Be sure that your Pricematch is in your favor as sometimes our Loyalty Points is the better deal vs. a lower upfront price from a competitor.  Pricematches can not be combined with any other sales or promos.  Dive Right In Scuba has the right to decline any pricematch or make a counteroffer.  We typically do NOT pricematch bidding sites like eBay, but you can submit them and maybe we can make it happen!  Pricematching on discontinued items is allowed.

    1. Pack the item(s) securely. All returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging. Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
    2. Please include the RMA Form with a copy of your receipt.
    3. Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded.) We recommend shipping ALL products back with an Insured Carrier with tracking numbers. This is the only way to track the product to ensure we receive it. Dive Right In Scuba is not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to Shipping Carriers.

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 60 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Customer Service can be reached at 1-815-267-8400 Monday through Friday 11 am - 9 pm Central Time or by emailing us at info@diverightinscuba.com.
