    I've had the opportunity to dive these boots on several occasions. In my line of diving I need something heavier duty than the standard dive boot, and these fit the bill.

    The first time I dove these, upon entry into the water, a lot of cold water rushed into them. I was thinking, "Uh oh, my feet are going to freeze." However, after the initial flooding, there was very little water transfer and my feet stayed reasonably warm. Though, in really cold water they're probably going to need a pair of Seal Skinz or neoprene socks underneath. I do think my 7mm socks with overboots are warmer.

    But I'll trade that for the increased ruggedness, better ankle support, and grip. These feel like they'd be right at home climbing over rocks and trekking through rough terrain.

    There are a few minor issues that kept them at 4 stars instead of 5. First they are a pain to get on and especially off. I haven't figured out the trick yet. The construction prevents you from folding the top down and then popping your heel out the way you can with the heavy neoprene socks and non-zip booties. I'll work on a technique.

    Secondly, the internal neoprene sock is attached at the top of the boot. There is no way to slide the leg of your wetsuit over the outside of the sock but inside the boot. That's the way I found is warmest with separate socks and boots. The ankle of you suit has to go inside everything with these. That greatly contributes to the initial flooding and the difficulty in taking them off.

    The only other issue doesn't affect me so much as it might someone else. The foot bed on these is very narrow. I have an average to slightly narrow foot and they are right on the edge of being uncomfortable. If my foot was slightly wider, where the sole turns up would be digging into the sides of my feet, especially at the arch.

    Overall, though, I'd say the issues are minor and the good far outweighs the bad. If you need a pair of heavy duty boots for diving or working in cold, wet conditions, I'd say buy these.

    One other note on fit - these do seem to run maybe a 1/2 size small. I ordered a size larger than my normal, thinking that would give me room for an extra layer. However, they turned out a little snugger than expected. I doubt my regular size in these would have fit comfortably. By comparison, the same size Rock Boot over a 7mm sock has a ton more room.

  Super Saver International is offered for FREE on most orders that total over US $500 that are outside the US. The only problem is this shipping method does not provide realtime tracking information. The delivery time is typically 3 weeks or less, and can take longer to some of the more remote locations. Your items will ship insured and you may pay some import duties and taxes based on your Local Government. Lost packages can only be replaced after USPS has issued payment for the lost items.
  US Postal Service Priority Mail International shipping offers you a low-cost and fast delivery option. Not counting time for the package to clear customs, it is about 2 weeks depending on your location. This option does not provide you with realtime tracking information. 
  US Postal Service Express Mail International is a very cost-effective choice for even faster delivery of your dive gear. This option typically takes about 1 week without counting customs clearing. As with the other USPS, there is no realtime tracking on your purchase. This is available in almost 200 countries around the globe.
  UPS Worldwide Expedited International offers you a fast delivery option to more than 60 countries with rapid in-house customs clearance. Typical delivery times is 1 week to your address. UPS.com will automatically e-mail you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Our shopping cart will not offer you the UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping choice if that service is not available in your country.
  UPS Worldwide Saver International is the absolute fastest delivery method to any country in about 3 business days or less. You will also receive rapid in-house customs clearance when saving time is the utmost concern for receiving your package. UPS.com automatically e-mails you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Some addresses may require additional time for in-country transit due to the remote location of that address. Hassle Free Returns

At Dive Right In Scuba, we are happy to extend our hassle free return policy to our customers: a 60/120-day Satisfaction Guarantee on ALL of our merchandise.

    • If it is within 60 days and the items are in new condition with original packaging, there is a 100% credit or refund* on any item.
    • If its within 30 days and the item is used, feel free to send it back and get a full 100% credit towards new equipment!  Thats right, you can send it back and get something different.  What do we do with these returns?  We have a used section on our website that we sell these at a discounted price!  * DRIS can, at our discretion, change this policy depending on the condition of the return.  Meaning, if you beat it up within 30 days and want to return it, you will NOT get a full refund.  
    • If it is within 60 days and the items are used, or are not returned with the original packaging, it's not a problem, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 75% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any other product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba*. * This can be changed at our discretion based on how used or damaged a product is*
    • If it is between 60 - 120 days and the items are in new condition, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 100% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba
    • You never need to contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) –Simply return your product to us with the RMA Form, To ensure that your return/exchange is handled in a speedy manner, always include a copy of your receipt. We do recommend calling with any issues to see what the best course of action is, its not always to just send back….so just give us a call and lets figure out the best response!
    • If you have bought an item and it needs to be returned, your original shipping charges are non refundable.
    • Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  If you received Free Shipping on your order, and return it, the charges for the shipping will come out of your refund.  Shipping is inlcuded if you keep the product, a return voids the free shipping.
  • * Certain Items may incure a 10% re-stocking fee(can be higher dependings on custom options or special order).  High dollar items may have a re-stocking fee which covers transaction and shipping charges.  If it is an exchange, there might not re-stocking fee depending on the situation.  We are people too, so we try to make sure it works for everyone depending on what is going on.
  • * Custom items do not qualify for a full refund.  If an item doesn't fit, we will do everything to make sure you get a proper fit.  But, on custom items, there can't always be a 100% refund, due to the custom nature of the item.

 

To return an item, just follow the simple directions below and we’ll take care of the rest!

 

    1. Pack the item(s) securely. All returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging. Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
    2. Please include the RMA Form with a copy of your receipt.
    3. Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded.) We recommend shipping ALL products back with an Insured Carrier with tracking numbers. This is the only way to track the product to ensure we receive it. Dive Right In Scuba is not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to Shipping Carriers.

 

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 60 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
