Apeks Drysuit Valves: A Change of Plans (But Don't Panic!)

We interrupt your regularly scheduled dive planning to bring you some important news: Apeks/Aqualung USA has decided to discontinue their drysuit valves. (Cue the dramatic gasp!) We know, we know, it's a bummer. We tried our best to snag any remaining stock, but alas, it was not meant to be.

But before you start throwing your drysuits overboard in despair, there's good news! (Cue the triumphant fanfare!) SI TECH valves are here to save the day (and your dry dives).

Why SI TECH Valves Are the Perfect Alternative (and Maybe Even Better)

Remember that time you struggled to install a new drysuit valve, your fingers fumbling with those tiny threads like a toddler trying to tie their shoelaces? Yeah, we've all been there. But with SI TECH valves, those frustrating moments are a thing of the past.

SI TECH valves are designed with user-friendliness in mind. Their larger 37mm diameter thread makes installation a breeze, even for those of us who are all thumbs (or maybe just have a bit of nitrogen narcosis). Plus, they're compatible with most drysuit valve pads, so you can easily swap out your old Apeks valve for a shiny new SI TECH without any major modifications.

Installation is a Breeze (Even if You're All Thumbs)

If your drysuit already has a valve pad, you're good to go! Simply unscrew the old Apeks valve and screw in the new SI TECH valve. It's as easy as changing a light bulb (but with a slightly higher risk of getting wet).

If your drysuit doesn't have a valve pad, don't worry! You can easily install one using a bit of marine-grade silicone. Just apply a thin layer of silicone to the base of the valve, insert it into the drysuit, and let it cure. It's like giving your drysuit a little DIY spa treatment (but with less cucumber slices and more sealant).
