    Sea gold defog is the way to go! This stuff is concentrated and will accomplish the job in a drop or too. Also this stuff is great because it doesn't burn your eyes from any smell! I've tried multiple different defogs before and this one is only bottle that has stood up to the challenge in all conditions. I'm glad I have this little bottle in my dive kit.

    This stuff does sting a little bit if you don't rinse your mask but then again so does all the ocean water that floods your mask when you have flood it underwater to clear the fog. Keep one in your dive bag and one in your mask case. Works great in warm water and very good in cold water.

    I'm one of those people that have a hard time spitting in my mask because my mouth dries out real fast. The Sea Gold solves that issues and I have used this stuff since 2006 when I was first introduce to it. I can't tell you that the sea gold has saved me so many headache especially in tropical diving. Otherwise, I know it doesn't work for some, but for me it has worked real good and can't see it failing me anytime.

    No issues with this defog! It works great! I've used it in cold and warm water, no issues with fogging, even on the second dive! The small bottles are great to throw into a mask case for easy storage for travel, or even to throw into a BC pocket for quick use during a surface interval if needed.

    Fogging is the enemy to divers. If it fogs underwater you have to let water in and expel the water out like you were taught in OW class. This prevents all that annoyance.

    My atomic mask kept fogging without this. It works better than shampoo or toothpaste. The price of it a bit much for a small amount, but you use a small dime size on each lens.

    love this stuff. I get really bummed when i get to the water and realize I forgot to put a bead in my mask, and have to resort to the ole' bio method. I only use about a pea-sized amount each time, and if I stay in the shallows for a short surface interval, I don't need to reapply. That makes it not as expensive as some other reviewers suggest.

    Works better than baby shampoo for me, but it is pricey. I put a nickle sized dollop on and rub it around and let it sit for a few minutes before I hit the water. One quick rinse and it is good to go.

    I find it works a bit better then spit however I usually just use spit because I always have spit with me. Its nice to have for pool dives so you don't get funny looks from the lifeguards for spitting in your mask. A bit expensive for something the only works marginally better then spit.

    This product is probably the best comercial defog solution out there... That being said, it performed worse than my spit on most occasions leaving me having to clear my mask repeatedly underwater (an somewhat irritating task when you wear contacts). For something so comparatively expensive and purpose made, I expect better performance.

    Works ok. My mask still fogs up sometimes after applying this. Make sure you rinse it soon after applying so the gel does not solidify on the lenses.

    A good product which keeps your mask clear and easy to clean out when washing your mask. However, it is a bit pricey considering the household alternatives, and it will not prevent a new mask from fogging if you havent sufficiently cleaned the lens.

    I've used this for years and just keep it in my mask box. I recently found an old bottle that I had sitting around for 10 years or more and it started to turn to a jelly, but still worked fine. I get mine at DRIS because they always have the little extra items that I need on occasion.

    A little goes a long way. One application gives me a day of diving and a bottle should last me a year. This is much more effective than spit and I have not experienced any irritation or tearing.

    This product has always worked well for me and is more effective than using spit because it is a gel and more resistant to being completely washed out. The only negative is that it isn't free like spit. Never had any issues with it irritating my eyes either.

    If money is no object then Sea Gold is the way to go. It's completely tear free, unscented and keeps your mask fog free for multiple dives. I've found that most everybody I dive with that uses Sea Gold uses way too much. This defog is very thick and for me it works best if I use less than a popcorn kernel size drop on each side of my mask and dilute it with maybe 3/4 ounce of freshwater then spread it around. If not overused, this small bottle will end up lasting for a lot of dives.

    I had purchased a great atomic aquatics mask from DRIS and even after properly cleaning it eight times with a toothbrush and toothpaste it was still fogging on me. (Not a unique occurrence for a new mask). After apply Sea Gold once the mask stayed fog-free for both boat dives. I was impressed since the weather went from cold to warmer and the water stayed frigid. Given these conditions I expected my mask to fog but it did not. Great product.

    This is always my preferred mask defog. Typically I just spit in my mask, but there are times where my spit doesn't work as well as it should so if it is critical, I want to have a guaranteed fog free dive. The only way I have found that guarantees a fog free dive is Sea Gold. I've tried 2 other mask defogs over time and found they either don't work as well or the bottle leaks (in which case the whole bottle emptied before I could use it).

    I use both Sea Gold and Sea Drops depending on the situation. In my other review I stated how I use the thinner Sea Drops on my Ski Sunglasses with great success. I also use Sea Drops in normal recreational diving situations. The Sea Gold I use mainly when I am in a training situation where I might be flooding my mask repeatedly. The Sea Gold seems to hold up better to repeated flooding. The best way I have found to use this stuff is to put it in as directed and spread it around evenly, let it dry for a while, then rinse and let dry again if possible. Works like a charm if you follow instructions. Plus, you don’t have to always be spitting in your mask…which, and I am not trying to be insulting to those that do, seems a bit nasty if you think about it. :)

    I bought this stuff because I needed some defog, it seems like a no brainer necessity to diving. After trying it a few times, it didn't work too well. I just spit in my mask now and I've never had it fog...and it's free!

    This works well, but so does spit for me. Let the defog dry on your mask before rinsing it and it will work better than if you follow the directions and rinse it immediately. This is cheap and small enough that it's worth getting, but I wouldn't call it necessary.

The only problem is this shipping method does not provide realtime tracking information. The delivery time is typically 3 weeks or less, and can take longer to some of the more remote locations. Your items will ship insured and you may pay some import duties and taxes based on your Local Government. Lost packages can only be replaced after USPS has issued payment for the lost items.
  US Postal Service Priority Mail International shipping offers you a low-cost and fast delivery option. Not counting time for the package to clear customs, it is about 2 weeks depending on your location. This option does not provide you with realtime tracking information. 
  US Postal Service Express Mail International is a very cost-effective choice for even faster delivery of your dive gear. This option typically takes about 1 week without counting customs clearing. As with the other USPS, there is no realtime tracking on your purchase. This is available in almost 200 countries around the globe.
  UPS Worldwide Expedited International offers you a fast delivery option to more than 60 countries with rapid in-house customs clearance. Typical delivery times is 1 week to your address. UPS.com will automatically e-mail you the realtime tracking number when your order ships from Dive Right In Scuba. Our shopping cart will not offer you the UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping choice if that service is not available in your country.
  UPS Worldwide Saver International is the absolute fastest delivery method to any country in about 3 business days or less. You will also receive rapid in-house customs clearance when saving time is the utmost concern for receiving your package. Some addresses may require additional time for in-country transit due to the remote location of that address. At Dive Right In Scuba, we are happy to extend our hassle free return policy to our customers: a 60/120-day Satisfaction Guarantee on ALL of our merchandise.

    • If it is within 60 days and the items are in new condition with original packaging, there is a 100% credit or refund* on any item.
    • If its within 30 days and the item is used, feel free to send it back and get a full 100% credit towards new equipment!  Thats right, you can send it back and get something different.  What do we do with these returns?  We have a used section on our website that we sell these at a discounted price!  * DRIS can, at our discretion, change this policy depending on the condition of the return.  Meaning, if you beat it up within 30 days and want to return it, you will NOT get a full refund.  
    • If it is within 60 days and the items are used, or are not returned with the original packaging, it's not a problem, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 75% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any other product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba*. * This can be changed at our discretion based on how used or damaged a product is*
    • If it is between 60 - 120 days and the items are in new condition, we will provide you with Loyalty Points for 100% of your products purchase price, that can be used to purchase any product we sell at Dive Right In Scuba
    • You never need to contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) –Simply return your product to us with the RMA Form, To ensure that your return/exchange is handled in a speedy manner, always include a copy of your receipt. We do recommend calling with any issues to see what the best course of action is, its not always to just send back….so just give us a call and lets figure out the best response!
    • If you have bought an item and it needs to be returned, your original shipping charges are non refundable.
    • Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  If you received Free Shipping on your order, and return it, the charges for the shipping will come out of your refund.  Shipping is inlcuded if you keep the product, a return voids the free shipping.
  • * Certain Items may incure a 10% re-stocking fee(can be higher dependings on custom options or special order).  High dollar items may have a re-stocking fee which covers transaction and shipping charges.  If it is an exchange, there might not re-stocking fee depending on the situation.  We are people too, so we try to make sure it works for everyone depending on what is going on.
  • * Custom items do not qualify for a full refund.  If an item doesn't fit, we will do everything to make sure you get a proper fit.  But, on custom items, there can't always be a 100% refund, due to the custom nature of the item.

 

To return an item, just follow the simple directions below and we’ll take care of the rest!

 

    1. Pack the item(s) securely. All returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging. Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
    2. Please include the RMA Form with a copy of your receipt.
    3. Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded.) We recommend shipping ALL products back with an Insured Carrier with tracking numbers. This is the only way to track the product to ensure we receive it. Dive Right In Scuba is not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to Shipping Carriers.

 

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 60 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
