In Memory of Rod Pedersen — 2016

Dive Right In Scuba is, at its heart, the story of a father and son. Rod Pedersen founded the shop to share his passion for diving and to build a community around it. He passed that passion on to his son, Mike, along with the dream of creating something lasting together. Rod brought the vision; Mike brought the drive. Together, they turned DRIS into a place where divers could grow, learn, and belong.

After Rod's passing in 2016, Mike carried on the legacy they built side by side. Today, everything we do at Dive Right In Scuba is shaped by Rod's spirit and Mike's leadership and by the belief that this is more than a dive shop. It's a family, a community, and a place where people can thrive.
