 Merry
Christmas to EVERYONE! At DRIS, we
know everyone celebrates different Holidays,
but instead of just saying Happy Holidays,
we will still say Merry Christmas as that is
what we celebrate! Please take that
into your own Holiday Celebration as we wish
you and your families the best!
We have had a great year, and we hope as
everyone reflects on the past, that you can
say you would be on Santa's Nice List.
As the Year ends and we move into 2010, we
want everyone to know that we are already
hard planning another year of Dive Events
for you!
Check out our Winter Classes on the Homepage
and our Upcoming trips. There is still
plenty to do over the winter. Don't
let your skills go cold...join us at the
Pool on Thursdays to stay up on your skills.
Merry Christmas,
Dive Right In Scuba

So Sad to say Goodbye
Goodbye
Heather
|
Heather
will unfortunately be leaving us here at
DRIS. She quickly became part of the
family here at DRIS and to you, our
customers. She was offered another
position with a Doctor. Although she
doesn't want to go, the position and
opportunity is too good to pass up.
We are sad to see her go and wish her the
best in her future job career. You
will still see Heather at the Dive Functions
and pursuing her Dive Master.
We are now looking to replace her position.
We need someone over the age of 18.
You can grab an application at the shop if
you are interested.

| Visual
Tank Inspections |
Want to learn how to do a Visual Inspection on
your own tanks? Not only does DRIS teach
you how to Inspect your tanks, but we also
have Tank Cleaning Parties! These are
setup to help you AFTER you have taken the
class so you have a place to go and clean your
cylinders in a fun environment...we also know
you might never do enough to stay proficient,
so this is a way to have one of our trained
Pros double check your work.
During the SDI Visual Inspection Procedures
course you will learn to promote safety in the
care and maintenance of high-pressure scuba
cylinders by way of your SDI Instructor and a
comprehensive Visual Inspection Procedures
manual.
One of the goals of this course is to raise
the consciousness of the industry to the need
to meet and exceed the minimum standards
established by local Regulations.
Another goal is to train inspectors in the
proper handling, filling, and inspection
techniques including the identification of the
various defective conditions that can lead to
cylinder rejection or condemnation.
The Student will be required to have
proper Visual Inspection Equipment to take the
class so that in the future, they have the
proper tools to do a proper Visual Inspection. |
