The Lava Core Hood has been designed to protect against thermal loss in water as well as protecting against the wind. The Lava Core hood can be worn on its own but also under wetsuit or dry suit for extra warmth. This dive hood has a unisex fit and has a sun protection factor of 30 so you can spend longer in the water.

Very good and comfortable hood for tropcial waters.
I'd say these wil wear out much faster than neoprene hoods though but have the advantage of packing very small and being very lights when you need a hood to give you comfort for that second or third dive of the day when diving on holiday in warm waters

Wonderful hood, I used this on a dive, and it worked great. It was perfect for keeping my head and face warm after the dive also, when dry of course. :)
