I purchased this from DRIS to replace a 9 watt IST primary light. I'm doing more cave diving - and needed something more substantial. A 21 watt HID seemed to be the best choice, and LightMonkey's customer service is said to be excellent.

DRIS didn't have one in stock - but they had LightMonkey ship one directly to my home and I received it in about 4 days. Their service was fantastic.

I dove with the light today in Mermett Springs. The water in the quarry had just turned over - and visibility was poor, less than 10 feet near the bottom. However, the tight beam did a great job cutting through the particulate - without reflecting back at me. The hot spot was also great for signaling.

Really looking forward to diving this light in a real cave next weekend. I think this is going to work well for the diving I do.

So I bought this to replace my 10w Dive right. I liked my 10 watt, but it just wasnt bright enough, and didnt have the reach I was looking for. I have only used this on a few dives, but so far I am very happy with my purchase.

I purchased this light to replace my Salvo 35w as I was looking for something a bit smaller with a sealed battery and e/o cord. I'm very happy with my choice. The light has performed flawlessly in the dark cold waters of Puget Sound.

Dive Right In Scuba has taken good care of me on this purchase as well as many others. I would happily buy from them again and would not even consider anything but Light Monkey when it comes to led/hid light.
