The fins are really great for travel. They pack small, are light, and are very comfortable. I assumed that being for travel, they would not be as efficient as regular fins and was not disappointed with their performance. The only downside with the fins is that the foot binding was pretty large if you go barefoot. It would be better if the straps at the front of the foot could go smaller. I used 2mm socks and that worked well. They would be perfect if you use dive boots
