I used the backplate with Hollis Elite 2 Harness. What I`d like to talk about, are bent corners. My back was never hitting, and I think it is real advantage of the backplate.

I purchased the aluminum backplate to use with my Hollis HTS. It seems like all backplates are very similar with slight differences between the various brands. What I like specifically about the Hollis plates are the bent corners that stop the corners from hitting your back. The Hollis plates have plenty of holes to hang gear off of if you choose to do so. You don't see much of mine with the HTS but it seems to be wearing fine. I am probably going to pick up a steel version for using with doubles. I would buy one again.
