The SEASOFT Sunrays™ are a warm water version of the Stealth™ and will deliver the same performance but in a 3 mm version with a mid-top fit! And it has the same great arch support.

A soft soled bootie makes you use the small muscle groups for the kicking motion. Why? Because inside the foot pocket your foot is flexing up and down against the fin foot pocket. This causes the small muscle groups to do the work that the large muscle groups were designed to do. This causes cramps and costs you energy, speed, air and distance.

All SEASOFT Boots have a hard sole that inside the fin foot pocket gives you complete control of your fins. Be more comfortable and faster because you use your thighs, calves and buttocks, the big muscle groups, to provide your power to move you through the water.

I bought the Stealth TI for the thicker rubber, for diving up here in the PAC NW cold water and loved them so much I bought these for a trip to Key West. Just like the TI, they're very comfortable and are great for climbing over rocky shores. They also fit perfectly into my ScubaPro TwinJet Max XXL Fins (size 3xl). The only issue I have with them is that with the thinner rubber they're a slightly looser fit than the TI of the same size. Climbing over those same rocks, on the way back out, is less fun with my wet foot slipping all over the inside. I've tried sho-goo'ing some old shoe insoles into them, and that worked marvelously until the goo came undone. Then the insert just bunches up and slides around too.
I'm thinking about trying some neoprene cement next, but the best solution would be to just get a size smaller.

Unfortunately I didn't know DRIS existed when I bought them. All my other communications with DRIS have been fantastic, and I'll definitely be getting another pair through them when the ones I have wear out.

I bought this pair of Seasoft Sunrays as a replacement for my Mares Trialistic 5MM boots I purchased one month ago. These boots are far superior since they actually fit in my fin pockets. The above mentioned Mares boots were too large to fit into my Atomic fins. They fit half way in only.

This created a problem because when I would dive I did not have full control over my fins. Conversely, these boots fit easily in my fin pockets. These boots give as much if not better protection for my feet when walking to and from dives. They also offer superior arch support, which (as I had read in other reviews) makes them very comfortable to walk around in.

They are great both in and out of the water. They fit true to size (I am a shoe size 12 and bought the 2XL-12 sunray's) and they fit perfectly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a superior boot that they can wear prior to and after their dive. I give these boots a 5/5.
