Not sure which item is being sold here, since there are two types of these whistles, the Storm whistle, and the Wind Storm which is the mini version of the Storm. I have ended up with one of each.
The Storm is louder and larger than the Wind storm, but they are both great and very loud. Nice to keep on on the float free diving, and one on the bc for scuba so there is always on there without remembering to pack it.
Unless you have an air source with which to blow it underwater (like an air buddy) dont bother using it underwater. The great thing about the design of these whistles is that they purge of water instantly if your head happens to be bobbing in and out of waves while you are blowing it (instead of flooding and gurgling like a normal whistle)
