Well I guess you get what you pay for. Not really happy with the slate. I should have spent a little more for some better wetnotes. I wrote down some deco notes before a dive, put the slate in my pocket and did the dive. When I pulled the slate out later during the dive, the notes were 95% GONE! so much for the slate serving its purpose I bought it for.

DRIS shipped the item quickly, thats the only reason I will give it 2 stars.

Decent slate, works well for it's intended purpose. Unfortunately, it's hard to stow and kind of bulky. The pencil works, but a better alternative is a pure graphite stick so that the tip cannot break off.

Very nice tough slate. The attachment hole in the top right is big enough for a bolt snap. The way the pencil is placed keeps it tucked against the slate when not in use.

This slate is big enough for my use (nav, notes, mapping). A definite recommendation for someone who's looking for a simple functional slate.
