Submited By: Timothy M. on 08/24/2011 Verified Buyer I used this for neck and wrist seals after having used adhesive tape on a different suit. I followed the typical seal adhesive instructions (two thin coats on both surfaces, each allowed to dry briefly, then one more coat and stick the surfaces together).
The adhesive dries quite quickly: 5-10 minutes is all it takes for the cement to be quit tacky. You have almost no time to mess with it, so make sure you're neat and careful!
It can be very tricky positioning the seals correctly. Once the adhesive touches, it's almost impossible to adjust it. Theoretically, you can use heat to adjust it but I was not very successful with this.
In short, the adhesive worked *exactly* as it is described. However, this is somewhat tricky to use. If you know what you're doing, I'm sure this works great. However, if you're looking to make the repair as easy as possible, you might want to check out the adhesive tape--as long as it will work with your suit material.
