This retractor came with my Probe LX BCD mounted at the lower right side behind the accessories pocket. It was easy enough to use it using my Pro Plus 2 and a small clip, my computer hangs right next to my hands and can be extended / retracted on demand.
However after only 3 dives, the spring loaded retractor went loose and wouldn't retract the metal wire. Lucky for me I'm quite handy, and all it needed was re-spinning the spring metal inside back into place.
What I didn't like about this is the wire constantly chips of metal bits from the BCD metal hole it comes out of. The wire is not very long, maybe 1 1/2 feet at the most. And it's dreadfully hard to find a male end clip so I could remove it from inside the BCD and have it hanging outside instead.
I came across Dive Right In Scuba from Scubaboard.com, and being highly recommended there, I decided to purchase from here. Will do a review of the items I bought when I get them.
