Get one for your drysuit--just do it! My only complaint is that the quick disconnect collar has the knurled edges, instead of the flange. I think the flange is easier to get a hose hat onto; this would NOT be a make or break point, though

I purchased one of these to replace a rubber hose on my right post first stage because of the routing angle. The angle that the hose had to be routed was very abrupt and was causing stress to the actual hose, potentially causing a failure point. When I put this hose on, it solved the issue instantly. There was no stress on the hose at all. DRIS had amazing pricing on these hoses vs the miflex hoses and had a variety of sizes to support my particular need. I'm very impressed with them and would recommend these hoses to anyone looking for a lightweight, flexible alternative to their rubber hoses.

Have Phantom hoses all around, an HP on my SPG, 7' primary, 22" octo, 22" inflator. Love the light weight and flexibility. Easy to wrap all this up into my reg bag for travel. Hose routing is easy. Quality is excellent. I moved from a rubber hose with swivel at 2nd stage on my Delta IV / FDX10 reg to the 7' Phantom primary on my Hollis DC1 - 212. I was concerned that I'd miss the adjustability and comfort of the swivel - no need to worry. The light weight and flexibility of the Phantom hose makes the 212 just as comfortable as the Delta IV was! Haven't had any issues with routing the 7' primary or it being floaty. Love this setup and the lengths DRIS went to in helping hook me up with it amidst the ordering confusion with Hollis!
