I purchased this line for tying off bolt snaps, 1/8" is perfect size for this application. The line seems to be very good quality and I would trust this for SMB and wreck penetration spools. I also like the ability to order what you need as I have been buying 500 foot spools and the line is lost or tangled by the time I need it again for a refill.

Let me start by saying this is good 1/8 nylon line. I personally prefer #24 dacron type line for my spools and attachment points. Thankfully DRIS sells by the foot so I was able to get the small amount I needed instead of a full spool.

It's cave line, and it's made of nylon. It's great for tying stuff to other stuff, like for example bolt snaps to hoses. In future though, I'll go for smaller diameter line.

I originally bought 15ft of this cave line for various applications such as attaching bolt snap, making loops to attack a slate and so on. I have to say, this 1/8th cave line is tough stuff, easy to work with and once you've got your length cut you can melt the tips to finish the ends. I would definitely buy more if needed tho at 15c per foot I'd likely consider buying around 50 feet instead of 15.
