New System allows you to glue the ring into your suit. Then take a neck seal, and install with the provided tool by rolling it into the groove. The yellow retainer keeps everything together. This allows for quick and easy neck seal exchanges on your dry suit at a minimum cost. The Neck ring is a flexible polyurethane material.

Got my suit back from Mike a couple weeks ago with the new neck seal and Si Tech system. The seal itself is "shorter" than I remember the stock Whites neck seal being and the other difference is that the Si Tech system has a solid ring necessary to hold the seal in place. In use you won't notice that at all, however, when you're donning the suit or walking around with the top unzipped and flipped back over your head this solid ring doesn't exactly allow the top part of the suit to fall backwards as easily as without it in there so it has a tendency to sit straight up behind you. I'm just pointing it out, for me, it's completely a NON-issue.

I didn't have to trim the seal at all and it fits perfectly. There is no messing with making sure it isn't rolled under or having to push it down below the adam's apple like with the stock neck seal and most importantly - I've been 100% dry on the three dives I've done so far! Once this neck seal wears out it will be very easy for me to replace myself which is awesome! Highly recommended both the Si Tech seal system and Dive Right In Scuba!
