I bought these latex seals to have cheap backup replacement seals in case I have problems with the silicone seals I bought. I have the permanent rings installed on my drysuit, allowing me to replace the seals quickly, so these will come into action if ever needed. There are several aspects of these seals that I really like. For one, I like that they are angled so they will fit many different sized wrists. Since these are my backups, if one of my friends tears a seal I can always give them one of my backups. They felt like they were just as flexible and comfortable as the seals that came with my drysuit originally (Fusion). I haven't trimmed these yet, but the only downside to these seals is they do not have any of the ridge lines going around the seal to aid in trimming a stright line when trimming the seals. Overall, though, a little caution should make it easy to trim these, if you keep the seal tight (put it over a bottle) and use a sharp, new razor blade for trimming.
