Submited By: Rob Z. on 02/23/2010 XS / Worthington HP steels are the only way to go given the goofy issues with PST's DOT exemption and reports of failures during hydro, and the superior finish to Faber/epoxy coated brands. These x7-120s are long tanks, being 6' I find I trim out just right in these - shorter people may find them bottom heavy. I like the 7.25" as it offers approx 20% less frontal surface area than a set of 8" tanks, which is significant with doubles - the less drag the better! The x7's are also lighter per cf. of capacity than x8's, which is nice since any steel tank in the 119+ cf range is going to make a heavy set of doubles. These are my favorite tanks, a set of doubles will get you more usable gas than 3 single 80s. Lets you do 3-4 recreational dives with more peace of mind than singles, good for long days out on Lake Michigan.
