I bought the 24" and it had to be replaced after 6 mths due to a leak. Then the replacement now needs to be replaced after 6 mths after leaking in the center of the hose. I'm now not so sure about braided hoses with MiFlex doing a recall and my 2 failures within the year with Phantom. It's a pity as I really liked the lightweight hoses.

Just about to order another one of these for a new reg set. They are a much better alternative to the Miflex HP hoses in my opinion, which are much thinner and floppy even when pressurised. They just don't seem right with a 2" gauge hanging off them. These are almost the same diameter as a Miflex LP hose and the finish is identical. The braiding is starting to fray on some of my hoses from being scraped under rock ledges so eventually I will replace them all, I will definitely go for Phantom HP and Miflex LP again especially at DRIS's great prices.
