Still looking for a solution to a problem that really should not exist. As many Hero users have learned, shooting underwater with the standard housing creates badly blurred images due to the curvature of the housing and the wide angle lens. This housing should have been the answer, but it isn't. The images are, indeed, sharp. However, the images are circular. If you do some research, you will hear this described as "vignetting." Vignetting usually means a little bit of shadow in the corners of the image. This housing does not cause vignetting; it completely obliterates the corners and creates a circular image at all resolutions. It does not get better if you drop to a lower resolution. This means severe cropping to get a standard, rectangular image and an almost impossible task of shooting images. Shooting is already complicated due to the lack of a viewfinder, but the very wide angle of the camera's lens usually helps because it makes it tough to miss. However, with all of the corners blacked out, you have to put the subject dead center and then crop the image around it. The result is an almost unusable product that creates unusable images. Very disappointed in this housing. If you want circular pictures, this will suit you. Construction quality seems on par with the OEM housing; that's the only positive thing I can say.
