Used the MK2 to dive in southern California. It is very well made, comfortable and less restrictive than the MK3. Bottom temperatures were between 48 and 59. The MK2 was comfortable at the higher temperature range but could have used my MK3 at the lower temperature range. The big advantage of the MK2 over the MK3 was that I was able to shed 10 lbs of lead! Overall a great buy.

This is a very warm undergarment!!!

The Undergarment is a fleece and nylon material that makes this warm garment very well made and easy to don and doff with a drysuit. I have made six dives with the MK2. I made three dives with a Whites Sport Fusion, one dive with a Pinnacle trilam, and two dives with my own Hollis FX 100. The undergarment has worked equally well with all the different types of drysuits. I have dove in as cold as 40 Degrees (F) (Water Temp) without feeling cold. This is a very comfortable undergarment that is very economical!!!! I highly recommend the Whites MK2!!!!

I just finished a dive weekend in Catalina using my new MK2 John. I have to say that the MK2 is excellent! It is very well made, which is par for the course with Whites gear in my experience. The MK2 is so comfortable and warm. Even when the exterior of the MK2 got wet, I was dry as a bone on the inside. It has comfort stretch panels on the waist and knee area for easy bending. Some portions of the exterior are fleece with ripstop nylon in all the right places...like the butt, for sitting on wet boat benches. The sleeves zip off to convert it into a true john. The sleeves and legs have elastic straps to hold them in place while donning your dry suit. Not to mention, it just looks really good.
