I saw a similar model in a local dive shop and thought I might give it a try. This product comes with very durable straps but I replaced them with my preferred straps anyway, the knife secures easily and is easy to pull and use even in limited viz.

I wore this knife for the first time yesterday during a night dive just to try it out. Turns out one of my buddies got tangled in lots of fishing line. I used my regular knife to start cutting at it but there was so much it was taking too long. Remembering the built in shears I pulled this knife and cut away more line that I thought in a very short amount of time.

The only thing I would love to see is this exact knife in titanium.

DRIS has once again provide fast shipping, great service and a product I bought just in case and ended up using it my first dive to free a friend, worked out great.
