I wanted a fin under 50 bucks for a snorkeling trip to Cozumel. After looking at offerings from US divers and the Cressi Palau LAF, I found the V-Flex and I couldn't be happier! I ordered a blue and yellow pair. Immediately upon opening the box, I knew that this fin was superior to its peers. What a great looking fin! It has a much sturdier strap and a simple but strong quick release buckle system. The blade materials are also more robust and provided us with plenty of power for free-diving and dealing with moderate currents. They are very lightweight and short enough to fit easily into carry-on luggage. The foot pocket is very soft and designed for bare-foot snorkeling, but we used neoprene socks and the comfort level was exceptional! No blisters or sore spots after 7 days of snorkeling. I wear a size 10 shoe and the M/XL fin was perfect. The only drawback is that a boot with a sole won't fit so shore entry possibilities are somewhat limited. Just a cosmetic thing - the blue color does show scratches and other wear more than the yellow. The fins came with a sturdy mesh bag that held our fins, masks, snorkels, and beach towels for 7 days with no tearing. Service from Dive Right In was wonderful, fast, and friendly!
