Have used the gloves on about 40 dives now, great gloves, they keep my hand very warm. The only downside about them for me is the flap on the gloves does not quite fit with my wetsuit so the suit gets pulled over, still keeps me really warm. Also the grip on them is verry nice, they hug the ladder at the St. Clair river better than any glove I have used so far. I will be buying at least one more pair in the future. I would also love them in 3mm for the summer months. .... On the side note I have to be careful not to rip the upper edge of the wrist area, both of mine have torn trying to put them back on after they get wet.

I got these glove for Christmas this year (2010) and dove the 3 days later in a local quarry with my drysuit. These glove have only one down fall, they are an absolute pain to get on. The first glove goes on pretty good, but getting the second one on with the other gloved had can be a pain. I have trouble getting the first (internal) seal over the widest part of my hand. That being said, an extra minute or two to get these gloves on has proven to be well worth it. They fit great and the part that makes it hard to get on forms an awesome seal. I spent a total of 45 mins. on my first dive that day with a max depth of 110ft and an average water temp of 42 degrees. Not once did my hands even feel any chill, they were as warm and had similar dexterity to any true dry glove system I have used with my dry suit. Somehow my wife was able to get her hands on my wish list from DRIS and they helped her find the exact glove I was looking to get. DRIS is by far the best for service and quality and that is why they are the only dive shop I deal with, yes thats right I dont even go to a local shop for anything any more..

These gloves are so warm I find myself using my old gloves in warmer water because these are just to warm. I use these when I go diving in water around 40F and they keep my hands perfectly warm the whole dive. They also have a nice tight fit but can be kinda hard to put on sometimes.

I bought these gloves and have dove with them in Monterrey with sub-50 degree weather. All I can say is wow! I had another pair of thinner 5MM gloves and they did nothing to keep out the cold. The rest of my body would remain warm but my hands would be freezing shortly after entering the water. These gloves are entirely different. They are twice and thick and have strong seals. The inner portion that goes under the wetsuit arm really does help to keep water out of the gloves. The only downside is that they are a pain to get on once one hand is gloved. However, since they do such a fantastic job at keeping me warm in such cold water they rightfully deserve 5 stars.

The dry five 5mm gloves work in 40f cold water. Putting the glove on take a small pull perfectly comfortable when in cold water. Best glove you can buy for the money, Work with your drysuit or wetsuit.Check with mike for right size.

very nice warm glove and fits really nice but this glove is a real pain to put on and take off especially when it's wet. i use it with my drysuit when i'm not taking pictures. i have used this glove in 41 degree water and my hands were toasty warm. i am happy to trade the difficult put on/take off for the comfort and warmth.
