I bought this for my recent trip to Cozumel. I needed a larger bag to use as my "Personal Item" on the airplane. I will start by saying this bag will carry more that you want to carry around the airport. I put way too much stuff in it. It handled the heavy load very well and passed through security with ease. I had to unzip the top half and flip it open going through the xray.

Filled to the max, the bag is a hair too big to fit under the airline seat. I was able to force it under there on one flight, but put it overhead for all of the rest.

For reference, this is what I was able to fit into this for my trip:
CPAP (sleep machine about the size of a shoe box)
Can Light & charger
2 Backup lights
Camera & Strobe
set of regulators
2 dive computers
Phone and charger
12 spare AA batteries
Spool, double ender, safety sausage
Hat
Pair of shorts to pad between items
Log book
(2) 1 quart zip log bags of liquids and bathroom supplies
travel documents
newspaper
wind breaker
mask in plastic case

Overall, this is a nice bag with a lot of space to put your items. There ended up being 5 divers in our group using them on this trip. We all had no problems with the bag other than putting too much stuff in them.

I was looking for a big regulator bag. This is a BIG regulator back.

My old bag was about 14"x11"x4" and I would actually carry three sets of regulators in it (hoses carefully woven together).

This one is a good 19"x14"x6". Stuffed like the one in the picture, it would probably be about 9-10" thick. At first glance, it almost looks like a small suitcase.

The three separate compartments will prove very useful--one LARGE open space for the regulators (with a zipper mesh pocket), one padded pocket for a mid-size laptop (pocket is about 14.5" long), and one small pocket on the front for odds and ends.

I look forward to carrying this on my next trip (especially since it has a shoulder strap). My only concern is that a very picky airline might hassle me if I bring this on with a standard 22" roller bag. This bag is probably pushing the limit of a "personal item".

It seems well made. I wouldn't consider it executive luggage quality, but I'm sure it will hold up for many years with a few dive trips per year.

I own this bag and could not be more happy with it. I have a full-sized gear bag that I use to carry all my gear and check it under the plane when flying. Of course, you cannot check your regulator and console/wrist computer as they are too sensitive and delicate. I bought a cheaper regulator bag, which is fine, but then I have a checked gear bag, a regulator bag, my case for my Mares Icon HD wrist computer (which does not fit in my reg bag), a carry-on bag for my laptop, magazines, etc., and my suitcase.

This is too much to fly with. The solution: The Executive diver. With this bag I am able to place my regulator and console inside the bag, my Mares Icon HD case, a laptop, magazines, etc., all in one bag. It meets carry-on size requirements so it is the perfect solution.

Thus, now when I travel I check my gear bag, carry on this bag, which covers all my sensitive electronics/reg, and a carry-on piece for my luggage. The Executive diver is a must for the traveling diver to streamline your gear and save you the $40 per round-trip flight since I solely have to check one bag.

Take two trips and the bag pays for itself. I recommend this bag as a must have for any diver who travels with their gear. 5/5.
