I got a pair of these boots as a Christmas present. I have used them on my last few dives to give them a try in place of my present ones. These boots are very comfortable and offer a flexible support that does not make you feel laced up all around the ankles. I have used them with both a Whites Nexus suit and a Whites Catalyst. They seem to be a far better boot than any I have had before. The grip you get on shore or boat in wet or dry conditions is great. I have wanted a pair for awhile and my family knows where to go when it comes to my SCUBA gear. Dive Right in SCUBA gets all my business and the Business of my family. It's a no brainer. For top of the line, quality products with the best sales and support you can get I will not and do not deal with anyone other than DRIS. The only thing I wish is DRIS would come open up a shop where I live, then I could try to talk them in to letting me live there:) All jokes a side there's a lot to be said for DRIS when there is a dozen dive shops with in a 30 minute drive of me that service and repair drysuits, but instead I send mine to Mike and the staff.

If you're looking for boots for your Drysuit, I would highly advise you to give these a try.

A really good looking boot by Whites and has style compared to DUI's converse overpriced copy. The minus of this boot is you need a bigger size fin but then thats Hollis's fault for not making a good size fin. If you're using any size 10 and up, the XXL hog tech fins or scubapro would fit fine. I use the Hollis XL and even that doesn't fit well and someone who had size 11 boot had problems as his XXL Hollis fin was way too big. But if the fins fit fine, then this boot is great and the great sole will not let you slip on the rocks. Check your fins or if planning to upgrade your fins before buying this boot.

I guess that the boots are fine, but I've yet to find fins that fit over them. If you look at the picture, the boot is very high at the arch. No fin foot pocket that I've seen is this tall (note width is not the problem, it's height), though I suppose there must be one out there somewhere. Just note that if you do decide to get these boots, your choice of fins will be very limited.

The excessive foot height is mostly due to the extremely thick sole. Perhaps this might make mountain climbing over sharp rocks more comfortable, but I can't think of a diving scenario to justify the sturdiness of the sole.

Also note that the boot fits relatively narrow, so those with wide feet, or planning to wear a lot under the boot (Whites booties, for instance), will have to squeeze.
