I just went with the backplate system and DRIS gave me a great package deal. The Elite II harness is extremely well made and east to adjust. There are more than enough D-Rings with spares for future placement. I was able to hang all my accessories with no problems and have converted a friend.

I’ve had a hard consideration about Hollis Elite 2 harness vs. Dive Rite Transpac II purchase. I was told Hollis takes a long time to ship, but I had few weeks before my Tech class started and took my chance. I am glad I did! My entire order from Hollis shipped promptly, and the quality of the gear is excellent.
The only other suggestion I have is to purchase the 1.5 inch crotch strap with quick release buckle instead of using the one that comes with the harness. But that’s just personal preference.

I used the Harness with Hollis aluminum backplate and S Series 38 lbs. Bladder. I looked for comfort and technical harness features, so with the harness I got it!
