The EBL2200 is a Rugged, Dependable, Small, High Power 220 lumen LED Light with a tight 7 degree beam that is brighter than most 10 watt HIDs.

The EBL2200 produces a painfully bright beam for over 24 hours and will continue to produce usable light for more than 500 hours on 3 AA batteries. The body is made of Delrin and the lens is polycarbonate. It is bright enough to be used as a primary light and perfectly meets the needs as a backup light, that is, it always works, even with nearly dead batteries. The Sartek EBL2200 light really packs some great usable light. It feels great in the hand and has a nice solid feel to it. The beam has a nice even halo with a tight 2 foot centre of very strong light.
This light is designed to take a real beating if necessary, the polycarbonate head has a nice rubber shroud for protection. The Delrin body is as tough as nails.
Another great feature is that twisting the head down turns the light on and of course twisting the other way turns it off....BUT several turns are needed to remove the lens/light assembly so there's no chance of turning the light off and then accidentally removing the end assembly.

3 AA's will run this LED light for a long time!

This is a very nice light. It is surprisingly bright for its size. Construction is simple and rugged. Appears to be an ideal backup light for cave use.

I've tried several back up lights. This is the best one I've found. Yesterday, I took it down in some dark water and compared it to my other best back up. What a difference; this thing puts out like a primary.
