I called Mike and told him I was looking for a wing for double AL 80s, and Mike recommended the 45 lb one. Boy am I glad he did! It looks great on double 80s--it fits very slim on them, and is a bit longer than normal I think, so it looks like it was made for them. The design is very simple, with a plain elbow attached to the back center of the wing, and a hip dump.
In the water, it works as well as it looks. I was going to get a horseshoe wing because of the better price, but the donut design is worth the few extra bucks I think--no more pull the string and wiggle your butt around to get small amounts of air out.
So if you're looking for a wing for AL80 doubles, or small to medium steels (although I've heard of people going much larger with 40 lb wings), then you won't go wrong with this!
