The GEO 2.0 has an upgraded look with a stainless steel accent ring and new color combination – and now includes Dual Algorithm, Deep Stop option and a redesigned user interface with "Step Back" – which allows forward and backward navigation through menus and settings. Additionally, a second Nitrox mix (both programmable to 100%) is available, as well as Firmware Auto-Update which allows the user to download and install operational improvements or even future new features through the PC Interface (with optional cable).

I'm really happy with my Geo 2.0. At first I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to see it underwater, but that has not been an issue at all. I find it really easy to see and use in cold dark water. The Manuel is a little hard to understand but the online class is great. I really like wearing it as a watch on dive weekends. I have small wrists so it is a little big to wear as a daily watch. I haven’t tried hooking it up to my computer yet. The only problem I've had with the watch is that it moves around on the dive. I wish the strap you use for 7 mm wetsuits had a little bungee in it to make up for the wetsuit compression. I didn't purchase the watch at DRIS, but wish I had. They have great, and I do most of my shopping through them.

In my humble opinion, the Oceanic Geo is the best computer in its price range on the market now. It is stylish and small enough to function as a day watch yet when underwater, the display is big enough and easy to see. It is nitrox compatible and have gauge mode and free diving mode to go with the usual watch mode and dive mode. Although the user interface takes a while to learn, once you get the hang of it, it is actually pretty easy to navigate the functions. The only criticism I have for this computer is that the back light seems to fade off after some time. This is not a major problem however as its easy to just point my torch at it and see the readings instead of pressing the light button.

The Geo is a GREAT COMPUTER!!!!

The Geo is an easy computer to use that has many modes that make it great for the beginner and the advanced diver. The display is very easy to read. The computer works in both Air and Nitrox modes up to 50%.

I wear this as a watch every day and dive with it also. The manual is very confusing, so I would suggest buying this from DRIS and having the staff assist you in using the computer. There is no air integration with this computer but air integration would make this reasonable computer very expensive.

I highly recommend the GEO!!!!
