This is a great regulator for use as an octopus or primary. I purchased the DC2-212 and this 221 for my complete setup and it is a great pair. The 221 doesn't have all of the features of the 212 but it has the same quality and reliability which is what I look for in a backup regulator. I don't want my octopus to be full of user adjustable features, rather I want it be a simple high quality product that will work when it needs to. This product accomplished that. The dive/predive switch is great sine it eliminates freeflow issue that have been a problem with other octopuses I have had.
