This Balanced P-valve has a delrin body and a stainless steel bolt. When it is time to relieve yourself, unscrew the bolt and go. No need to worry about breaking the bolt like other systems with a delrin bolt. This system also has a quick disconnect for ease of connecting the system. When it is disconnected, the valve is shut off so you don't need to worry about leaks. This is built tough for your diving and comes with one condom cathetor.

So far I have been impressed. I had my friend install the valve because he had done a few in the past. The quick disconnect is a real bonus on this valve because you can hook it into the cath before attaching your self to the valve. I find this very beneficial in donning and doffing my dry suit. I would also maybe look into getting a spare QD piece because it is small and can get lost. The only problem I have had is with the condom caths, check for the rochester wide band, they have a great adhesive that will help a lot. As for the valve, it performs great every time. And there is no need to "brake" your flow, just open it up, let 'er go, and close it up.

The tubing did not stay connected to the brass barbed fitting that is screwed into the delrin p-valve body. I spoke directly with Light Monkey and a replacement brass barbed fitting is being shipped to me. Hopefully it is the correct diameter for the tubing to stay connected. Communication with Dive Right In Scuba was excellent as I needed to follow up on shipping. Product was received in a timely fashion, ordered through Dive Right In Scuba and shipped directly from Light Monkey warehouse.
