These are nice for weight integrated pockets. They're a little easier to deal with than hard weights. However, in general I would prefer hard weights both because they're slightly cheaper and they're a little more versatile (well I guess with leadshot you could cut it open and pour the leadshot into something else if you ever wanted to use a v-pocket, e.g.). The hard weights can get strung onto 2" webbing directly (with a keeper for extra immobilizing if you want), so I prefer them in that regard. But otherwise the soft weights are nice. They're less likely to scratch up your stuff.
