Backpad is the perfect accessory for a secondary lift bag or SMB. The pad extends over the edge of the backplate. Not sure if this is by design. As other have said, the holes don't seem to line up to the backplate, especially the bottom holes. It was at two man operation to stretch the pad so the holes would line up and thread the book screws together.

During shipment, a couple of the book screws came apart and must have fell out the box. I informed DRIS of the problem and they sent me two replacements right away. Great customer service.

Simple lumbar pad that comfortable and works well. It is easy to install/deinstall when you need to access backplate. The backpad fits perfectly in Hollis backplate (But I think that the backpad would fit on any backplate ...)
Backplate backpad includes a compartment for SMB's and/or lift bags. Bolt screws are included. It dries quickly.

Perfect size and just the right amount of padding to cover the backplate. Also works well to conceal extra weight bolted on to your backplate. Dries quickly. The included bolts are the weakest part of the equipment, they get loose fairly easily, but I have not come close to losing one yet.
