Heat up the old one, pull it off, heat up this one and roll it on....Sounds easy! Its a little more difficult than that, but this wrist seal makes repairing your drysuit a breeze!!

Due to NOT knowing if you need the tape on the inside or outside of the seal, the tape does NOT come on the seal. Some suits have the seal installed on the inside, some on the outside...due to this, we do not install the tape on seal.

These are great. They are perfectly economical and if you're comfortable working on your gear, they're very easy to install. I used these to replace the wrist seals on my Whites Fusion. Fit was perfect on the Fusion AND on my wrist. They are true to size and luckily for me I didn't even need to cut them. As a matter of advice I would also make note that if you do not cut them, they will lengthen your Whites Fusion's sleeve slightly, since the original wrist seals are maybe 1/4 or 1/2 inch shorter. It's not really a big deal if you measure first and cut to the size you like. For me, I didn't bother since I liked the idea of no cutting them at all and the extra length makes no significant difference for my personal fit. For install, I know people have used irons and even hair dryers to activate the glue, but I personally prefer the heat gun. While MEK is preferred, I used alcohol and acetone for cleanup instead of MEK (cleaned and re-cleaned a couple of times) and the seal has been good for several dives now, and it's tough as nails, so I don't expect it's going to come apart any time soon.

I used this on my first-ever drysuit repair. I used a hairdryer to remove the old seals and an iron (on polyester: level 2 of 4 on my iron) to attach the adhesive to the seal, and the seal to the suit. Everything worked out very well: I'm really pretty happy with the results!

One thing to be aware of: this adhesive will only bond to rubber or urethane (or existing glue)--but not nylon! So, you will want to most likely leave the old seals there if they are in solid condition. In my case, though, the seals were cracked and needed to be removed. So, I ended up having to bond them to the inside of the (bilam) suit, rather than the top as the old ones were.

Installed dry adhesive drysuit latex wrist seals on my Bare HD Tech suit, and it was very easy. First time for me ever replacing seals on my own. The dry adhesive tape was as easy to use as shown in the video. I emailed DRIS scuba one night around 10 pm with a few questions, and I got a response within about 10 minutes! Have since dove the seals with no leaks whatsoever.
