too convenient! adapter from xs scuba model AC900. i use this to convert a 26" mi-flex hose into a drysuit inflator. a snap to attach, even when pressurized. like it so much i'm buying a second for my inflator! only concern is the additional o-ring that now exists between my 1st stage and the inflator ... is this an unnecessary failure point, or is my safety improved now by the speed at which i can detach/switch hoses around (say, in the event i have to shut down a post?) i vote the latter.

I have one of these on my drysuit inflator, which is perfect for when I forget to connect it until after I have drygloves on :) You can connect it without pulling back on the collar which makes life very easy.

Got a bur or something the first time I used it, was very difficult to remove from the male connector. After the weekend I deburred it and chased opening with drill to ensure a better fit and has been working great since. (might have been my inflator connector, but it was easy to work on and the engineering in me enjoyed being able to take it apart and tinker with it, should be easy for field maintenance if the need ever arises now)

The folks at Dive Right In suggested this to me instead of a QD built on the hose since you can reuse this on a future hose down the line. Always very helpful support when I talk to them!
