I don't know that this is really necessary. My mask doesn't fog too much, but my masks that I didn't use this with don't either. I think a gritty toothpaste works just as well if you have that. But if you don't, then it's not like this is expensive and it maybe works slightly better than toothpaste.

I got some of this when I purchased my latest mask - I have to say that this is FAR superior to the old tooth-paste method of cleaning the new mask prior to use. Shake the bottle well, put some on the inside of the lenses and rub vigorously with your fingers. I did this twice with my new mask and voila! No fogging problems. This one small container has enough for several masks - so keep it around for that new mask you just have to get! You'll be glad you did!
