PAST EVENTS

May 17th 2009: Hyperberic Chamber

Great time had by all that attended. 7 divers attended the dive. They brought in balloons, empty and full water bottles, cozies and a rubber truck to see how they react to the pressure at different depths. And of course they topped off the day with a visit to Tailgaters in Bolingbrook.

May 16th – 17th 2009: Weekend at Pearle Lake Dive Trip

Dive club members braved the cold water to do some diving at Pearle Lake. Some members spent the weekend camping at Pearle Lake and some are just drove up for the day. Keith will have a report at this months meeting.

Summer Diving-Aquaholics

Also lets start thinking about a local trip. I was looking at Gilboa Quarry in Ottawa, OH. It a bit closer than Mermets and it somewhere we haven’t been. I talked to a friend of mine that has been there and he says it a really nice place to dive. I hope we can get a road trip there maybe sometime in September or early October.

DAN Training - The dive club has a opportunity to take the Diving Emergency Management Provider Program. It is being offered to dive club members for the cost of materials.
